Also most of the aftermarket elbows catch the turbo penny and cause overboosting. RSP recommends using the standard elbow, i no people Running stage 3.5 turbo with 1.4bar of boost with no probs at all. No spikes either.

Im sorry and you (not you personally) let them get away with this f**k me id be taking it as far as i could go If i had an engineers report that allowed my car to be road worthy with factory fitted exhaust and it failed an EPA noise level test later then someone or something is wrong and its not me. Id be calling my solicitor

So let me get this right If i have a EPA test on the noise from my exhaust it will fail with a stock factory fitted part??? So then what?????? Somethings not right there

Agreed but its not best to leave it because it will eventually breach then if you continue to drive it and you dont at least course the manifold to warp like a banana then you would be lucky Ps it cost me just under $300 to do it myself but i refused to pay the down right rip of cost for a Nissan parts/gaskets when there were far better and uprated parts for far far less

You have enough boost lol ok Simple answer is yes you will course more damage if you dont sort it out. Question is why wouldnt you want to sort it out???

A few guys run lpg on high bhp out puts in the uk with no problems. There is a few horses lost but nothing noticable

I have a neo if you need any help pm me Im also amazed at how much nistune is For 300 bucks i can get a generic stage one stock ecu remap. Simple plug and play on an exchange basis that smooths out the four to five k flat spot, returns better fuel econamy and gives on average 330bhp i have seen 350bhp.

If you want to remove them diy then follow the link in my sig If you hear a ticking noise its leaking as its the gasket flapping about and you will be loseing boost pressure if its leaking too.

Interesting reading this thread. We have the same problems Britain and what gets me is that its sad that its come to a point where someone has to ask on a public forum if they should bother calling the police or not. Dose this reflect the fact that the police don't really take things like this seriously or are not seen to be dealing with it in the way they should. Past experience and media hype suggests that the law favours the criminal. Witch is all very Interesting seeing as the police are there to serve and protect while EQUALLY and FAIRLY distributing the law. Yet through cop shows shown on TV there is clear evidence that the above is not the case and its corrupt. You might argue that we dont no what goes on behind close doors, true but a vast majority of it boils down to "common sense policing" surly and you can bet bottom $ the rest revolves around money. It also appears that the public's interest means jack as well because there let every tom dick and harry out early coz "they found God" then house the kiddy fidderlers right next to a school and allow a convicted terrorist to work as security in an airport. But its all good because they found God. I blame the fact that the world has become so target driven its lost its focus. If I said id give you $10million if you hit your target of 5 sales what you going to do??? Make damn sure you hit that target and f**k everyone and everything else. I use the stock snokle with a Apexi power flow and heat shield I couldn't tell if it was better or worse but I can tell you I gain'd a few extra horses over stock at the dyno So for me at least I was a happy bunny and will stick with this set up

I ran a 14.27 stock straight off the boat thats was later found out to be 255bhp at .5 bar boost

do you not have a wideband? You really need one to be honest the safc and or neo should be able to sort that blip out though if you have a mild tune say stage one. What do you mean when you say you tryied different fuelling? the SAFC or NEO are Air Flow Controllers you can not adjust duty cycle of injectors. can you let me have you settings i might be able to help. are you useing 8 point or 16 point correction map

Sounds like you need to adjust/reduce the duty a few % in the 5k rpm range Because as you say the learn gear was on and it would have changed the boost map.

I dont like vta BOV personally. Its not needed and curses so many rough running issues that i've lost count, Some listen remove it and find it runs 100% better and others dont and suffer. However there was no need for half the comments really that's a bit gay.

Apexi power flow. Ignore the shite on the Internet it all bollox i have one and it works great plus id rather sacrafice a few horses for better filtration.

i just bought them because it was recommended and they out lasted any thing i've ever used before nothing to do with power or if i get 20 bhp more that's just silly.

Surly having the stock tubby rebuilt with steal internal and high flowed with a custom ecu remap will be cheaper????? I got 300bhp 220kW with my silly set up and im sure you could get at least 30 or 40 bhp more out of it if I went the steal tubby and ecu route.
