  1. Dude speak to rsp there help you out and only down the road from you if you are still in the UK that is Could be any number of things
  2. Have you made sure you've set your throttle position as you have to calibrate it for your car? As it sounds like the % for the hi map is screwed up. Should be around 35% that it switches But yes iir it should be set at 4 both in and out.
  3. Mate i dont write the rules thems are the rules for the UK as stupid as it is even if its from 1900 and frozen to death
  4. I can not believe you lot get pulled over so much. 6 months i've been here and i can count on one hand the amount of cop/cars i've seen f**k me id see at least 6 just going ten mins down the road in UK. But the i suppose its where you live and the times your out that makes the difference. Same when I got my Skyline everyone moaning about how there were always getting pulled over for this that and the other. It almost stopped me getting one. But i drove it without EVER being pulled over for nearly 4 years. Thinking about it i have not been pulled over for coming on TEN years. (jinks that now) But then in the UK there more worried about weather you have MOT TAX and Insurance and they can check all that automatically with the NRCs with out a tug so only when it bleeps at them do they need to do anything.
  5. Dose it not say please correct me if im wrong The following is the legal rationale: The Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations 1989 regulate the situation in the UK. Under these Regulations, HID/Gas Discharge/Xenon headlamps are not mentioned and therefore they are not permitted according to the strict letter of the law. Under the Road Traffic Act 1988 it is an offence to supply, fit or use vehicle parts which are not legal. now back to fog lights.
  6. Fuel cuts at 1.3 bar????
  7. well Britain at least yes the high way code says something along the lines of lights shall be used when it's dark and in adverse weather conditions. The sun shining in the uk could be classed as an adverse weather condition.
  8. Actually they are would you like to read a copy of the legilastion???? http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roadsafety/drs/hidheadlamps please take note of the following Under these Regulations, HID/Gas Discharge/Xenon headlamps are not mentioned and therefore they are not permitted according to the strict letter of the law.
  9. Had it 4 years like this Any part on a car can fail at any time be it new or old
  10. Not many cars in the UK have yellow fogs there white and classed as anything below the standard lens i also think there is some height argument. But what ever it holds a $50 odd fine and 3 point on your licence. If you say you didnt know you had them on you get done for driving without due care There are gray areas as any new car passed to be sold in the EU, is legally allowed to be sold in the UK as well but it that dose not mean by the strict letter of the law it is legal for example HIDS are actually illegal in Britain but many cars now come with them stock the mini one actually has to darker tints from the garage stock Number plates found on Alfas to side were illegal this has been changed though
  11. Spotted a r35 at the northern hospital today at around 10 40 ish
  12. Most people over here carnt drive in the rain for shit either Jesus yesterday you would have thought the circus was in town the amount of prize winning pricks out there Im going to get a camera mounted on the dash its that bad tbh and share it with the world.
  13. I tend to go by the rule If it works and isn't broke dont fix it i run 300bhp atf on stock and its fine if it brakes or stops working ill upgrade it Simple
  14. far out but my s1 has the indicator light and fog light next to it in one if you like as an optional upgrade im sure you could have fogs there instead/aswell There was no light fitted and never was on mine so dose that mean although i have a lens i can be defected for it even though its stock????? PS i fitted the fogs further down later and yes thats about negative 3 degrees camber
  15. Yeap had it happen in the UK once but i was on the approach ramp behind a car going so slow that i under took and got in front of it before the end of the slip road i mean wtf
  16. Its only a temp fix and also only if the insulation is the fault. If the coils broken down inside all the cleaning and insulating wont do jack Same with an afm cleaning or re soldering 95% of the time will do jack once its f**ked its f**ked it will nearly always need a new element/hotwire
  17. Guys in the UK do it all the time its seen as a cheap easy worth while upgrade for stage one applications
  18. That's human error then right????
  19. Agreed yet so many over here for some reason think other wise. I do not believe the claims that it can not hold boost stable. utter cod shit its not been set up correctly!!!!!
