  5. Im going, have heard good things. Pretty damn keen!
  6. try skyline spares in sydney, even though its not in canberra. Just thought I'd suggest him as he was good to me
  7. Black 33 gtst on on coulter this morning about 730, turned onto southern cross. looked clean
  8. I can probably do a regas for $100 - $110, providing the car is on R134A gas. If your compressor is noisy, id say its probably too far gone, unless the noise is the clutch on the front which is rare. With most compressors you can change the clutch on the front, but if its anything other than that youre better off getting another compressor.
  9. You cant check the oil level as far as i know, the oil is vacuumed out and replaced in the regassing process. Im not 100% sure how other machines work but im sure with our one you can only inject oil when doing a regas. And even then youll have to try and find out how much oil usually goes into the system in R33s, as all cars are different.
  10. You really should replace the receiver drier too if the system is opened for more than 10 mins, also as Eiji said, you will need to put oil in the system too. I think its roughly 30ml for every part you replace. If you can, measure the oil that comes out of the old compressor and try and put that amount in the new one. I can regas it for you and should be able to inject oil too if needed. PM me if you need anymore help. EDIT: i can get prices on parts too if you like, as i can get them trade price
  11. f**k it went off, so awesome, saw them when they were in sydney few years ago too, i think this concert was better. I was thinking they would play mostly new stuff but they certainly did not Encore was epic
  12. Its just something to do on a sunday man. Meet new people, drive and enjoy your car.
  13. As the title states, someones organised a cruise to Goulburn this sunday, i think the snap on tools guy and maybe old mate from nat caps organised it. Departing from Dyno Tune Belconnen 11:30-12:00, cruise to goulburn and back. Not sure if i can make it, but im sure anyone is free to come. Not sure what theyre doing in Goulburn either but it would be a good drive with a strong pack of nice cars. Get on it http://www.dynotune.com.au/ PS. sorry i dont know a great amount of details only saw the poster in the front window of work this morning EDIT: also note it wont go ahead if its raining
  14. As Eiji said its to stop the struts moving, so fit it when the car is on the ground stationary and they will be joined in that position. If you lift it up and do it, putting the strut bar under compression, wont it be encouraged to lose its compression going over bumps? Therefore moving the strut towers??????
  15. Cruising: Random I Am + Tiger + (1 + another dog) maybe Trozzle MAG86 (maybe) Andrew (Def) Prue (maybe) MIVEC Rig136 turboty + wife (maybe) ZCR CeJay + 1 (probably) Turismo Veilwest + TM7GTR Melly TiTAN Frink (maybe) Consequence (maybe) Nathan + 1 (maybe) Chat or BBQ: J'son nerm Shell + Molly
  16. As long as the studs from the strut just come through holes in the strut tower, you dont need to jack it up. Just undo the nuts, slide the strut bar end over, tighten nuts. Job done
  17. Spotted black/dark purple? R33 GTR on clancy st Evatt, don't know if they're on here but, tough ass car
