  2. Spotted very neat silver R32 GTR on Ginninderra dr/Coulter dr yesterday morning.
  3. Hook it up to a scan tool and retrieve the fault codes, may not show you the exact fault but will probably point you in the right direction. Best way to do it is check the fault codes, write them down (reference no. and description, eg. P0205-O2 sensor open circuit), erase the codes, test drive it and recheck the codes and see which ones come back.
  4. Spotted black on black R33 GTR at shell servo fyshwick
  5. Spotted black on black R33 GTR at shell servo fyshwick

  7. Thanks mate ive already downloaded it, very handy advice, going through that massive thread at the moment.
  8. Well luckily, i can do most of the engine work at work, and all fabrication can be done by a guy i work with (including all modifications for lines, timing belt etc.) all of the tuning can be done here at work. We have a close relationship with a few engine builders/machinists for head and block work. I already have a few major parts lined up cheap, not sure which box to use though, probably 33 5spd, not sure about fitment though, and its not a 6 month job im planning it over a long period. Car already has Haltech as well. Still sifting through all the threads trying to figure out the best combo, so much info and conflicting stories. Looks like it could be an interesting/fun/expensive journey!
  9. Ok cool, i can come get it any time whatever suits you, my number is 0422683630 and Thank You
  10. Hi guys if you hear of any rb30 blocks or rb25de or rb25det heads for sale around town could you please let me know. Dont mind what level of assembly the block is as i will be sourcing my own pistons and rods, would be good if it has a crank, as for the head, the more assembled it is the better it is. thanks
  11. This is such an intense subject, I knows its kinda heartless to find any benefit from someones death, but seeing the criminal history and the caliber of others associated with them (and don't let anyone tell you not to judge a book by its cover coz we do it every day,if I see a blank magazine cover I sure as hell ain't buyin it) but anyway, these people seem to be the sort that could have previously commited crimes or been involved in crime, and yeah I may sound like an arsehole but its how things are. you do the crime you do the time.
  12. It's a ford meteor/mazda 626 and a mazda 323 astina
  13. I spoke to nissan, the numbers on the diagram are reference numbers only, RB25DE and RB26DETT valve spring part numbers are different, and R32 and R33 GTR valve spring part numbers are different also. The guy from nissan assumed the GTR springs would be considerably stronger.
  14. So many small things could change the outcome of the chase, if the police continued the chase, the people could have seen the sirens and be more aware, or the theif could have driven even faster and caused a worse accident before that intersection, or could have got to that intersection while the light was still green.
  15. Yeah i know what you mean, some say it was karma, some say wrong place wrong time. No matter what way you look at it, it's a horrible outcome.
  16. I saw media watch last night and they highlighted how much of the canberra times article was related to the victims criminal history over the past 16 years, it was more than half the article, can't imagine being his family and reading that the day after he died, pathetic move from the canberra times IMO
