  1. Yeah I'll be up there tonight too staying at the comfort inn. Should get a fair bit more track time with the lower number plus should definitly get a passenger session!
  2. rkinens, did you sort out your PVC problem (catch can)?
  3. Same! Can't wait to get out of here. Ok this time I'm gonna actually introduce myself and meet some of you guys! So if a weird 6' tall slightly balding guy possibly wearing a beannie (weather dependant) comes up to you it's me! Hahaha
  4. Tell me about it. Brakes were fried after last meet. Crap pads didn't help. Got those ones u reccommended so will try them out at next meet.
  5. I'm with Russ. I was thinking of doing John moss next weekend then winton the weekend after then hsvoc the weekend after that! Yep, poor car! Hahaha
  6. I'm there for sure. Hey do most people head up early saturday morning or stay somewhere closer Friday night? Thinking the later is a better idea. Oh and sorry if I cut your grass there Belsil80 by getting this up before u. Was just super keen and spotted it on the wrx forum!
  7. No this would be a seperate event. which I'd be keen on! Or do both! 24th of July meet posted http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wr...-5-t327886.html
  8. So is team gts-t going? I'm keen as! Anyone been to a hsvoc meet before? What kind of reception did you get taking a skyline? Out of curiostiry what sort of lap rimes do the hsv boys run?
  9. I'd be in! Don't forget you'll need flagies and marshals and recovery vehicles etc too!
  10. Yeah I'm in for that! But will definitly need a reminder especially seeing that event won't appear on the normal event page. How & through who is the event run? (ie what other cars will b there?)
  11. hell yeah! Pick an event, let us all know, lets meet before hand, cruise in together and get a set of pits all together. Team gtst! Hahaha
  12. I'd be in for that too! Provided you boys don't mind my slower gtst following you around? (on the up side it would make you all look a lot faster! ) Hey Rus, what was the name of the place you said for the brake pads? Clutch, hicas lock bar & rear camer arms on order. will sort some new springs out next week and want to order some pads now too! Cheers!
  13. Car was great. Engine's running sweet, brakes are useless. Will spend some money on the brakes before the next session. Funny thing was the HICAS crapped out at the start of the 3rd session and the car felt so much better, so thats going before the next event too!
  14. Brilliant day guys! Was my first time out with you all and had an absolute blast! Car went well, had the expected level of brake fade and new my clutch pressure plate was dying so when she started going it wasn't a total surprise but managed to run a 1:37.3 in a totally stock r32 gtst, very happy! Sorry I didn't get to meet more of you I couldn't work out who was who. Question, I don't remember filling in my sau comp category anywhere? How does that whole comp points thing work? Cheers!
  15. OK, I have my CAMS! Confirmed my event entry! Did a full service & run through on the car! Got my helmet, fire extinguisher, bonnet latch, etc! READY TO ROCK! Very excited! Slight concern with oil pressure but putting it down to false reading from factory guage. So there's 57 confirmed entrants so far. 10 skylines, 12 BMW's, 8 EVO's, 1 commodore, 1 Lambo, 1 911 and of course a heap of Subbi's! Sounds like fun to me. Can't wait to actually meet some of you forum people too!
  16. Yeah but you also have to realize that a poorly designed cage or an incorrectly fitted cage can do more harm than no cage at all. So cams inforce this rule
  17. If u have a roll cage then it must be a cams approved one. But all rear hinged bonnets require an addition retraint.
  18. hahaha! Alternatively, waste gates are like reproductive organs; women have internal ones and men have external?
  19. Might need some advise from all you "experts" on the day about setup and mods! Last thing I'd want is a mx5 repeatedly beating me!!!!!
  20. Cheers Russman! Have sent in my CAMS today and will register online for the event this arvo! Bringing my R32 GTS-t down, pretty much stock, just want to turn a few laps to find out where I need to spend some money and to have a bit of fun! I could bring my mustang down for a laugh but think I'd rather have something that stops & turns! Catch you all there!
  21. Hey all, Newbie to SAU. Definitely want to take the R32 to this meet. Do I need to organise my CAMS before the event? Or can I bring the form and get it done on the day? If the later, what do I fill in as my competition license number on the entry form? First SAU event for me & the car so super excited! Cheers!
  22. Not the greatest photo's but they'll do. she's got a few non standard goodies but have concentrated on keeping the look as original as possible. So no one has any further information on the decca day or the sandown track day? would you recommend I PM someone for that info? If so who? Cheers!
  23. Thanks iseekool! I've had a search through there and while the events are listed on the calender I'm more looking for information on how and where do I sign up. Times, locations, requirements etc etc. Cheers!
  24. Hahaha. Yeah she's my weekend cruiser. I'll get some pics up. But typical muscle car can't turn or stop, goes great in a straight line and is brilliant for summer cruising!
  25. Hi all, new to the forums and also a new member of SAU VIC. Super excited to get my R32 GTS-t on the track finally! Been trying to search for some info on the DECCA day & Sandown day in June, but can't find any. If anyone can help that would be brilliant! Little info on me: Engineer, car nut, live in Melbourne. Have owned too many cars to list but for the the SAU people a 32 GTR, 240z, 260z, 280zx, 180b. Have come back around to the skylines after a little stint of driving "boring" cars. Now own a 32 GTS-t and a 1970 Mustang Convertible. Cheers!
