Well mine is making 273rwkw on 18psi (3076 .82 IW) on PULP98 on a fairly easy tune.
Simon from Morpowa thinks E85 should bump it up to around 310rwkw.
He said the most he's seen a 3076 on E85 is i think 320 whereas a bunch of people on here have been seeing 330-340+ with similar mods so i think the Morpowa dyno might read on the low side...?
Lol that's me. And on my Bday too (albeit last year..!).
I remember I had the day off but headed in to work (for the bring a cake on your birthday rule).
Classic.
Damn... other side of town from both home and work... lol.
Oh well worth it to see how it goes. Just get a tune and swap to it when I feel like going down there i suppose.
Thanks all!
Does anyone have a list (or know where to find one) of servos that sell E85 in little old Adelaide?
Preferably at the pump for convenience.
Want to get a tune to see what the 3076 will make on it...
Perhaps the RAA guy meant an atmospheric bov - ie venting 'exhaust' (which is actually just intake air) hence the pssshht - as opposed to a plumb back standard one?
Nah you're all good - at least you didn't know what it was / was for and asked.
And will now take it off.
I'm at the point of thinking non plumb back REAL bov's are fully sic... they were cool 10 years ago when I was 18 and didn't know any better...
I've heard that PFC will be harder to get bigger injectors running right than more expensive ECUs ie Haltech, vipic, Motec etc etc but asking your tuner is probably the best bet...
Looks like I should easily be posting flat-low 4s with 273rwkw and Yoko AD08 255s then... if only I had a way to time it!
(and no, I'm not going to bother spending anything on something that will...!)
As long as you have a good enough ECU to be able to control the flow and the spray pattern is good there shouldn't be any problem.
Good for running E85 as well...
I think you'll find setting this up may be a costly and difficult exercise. My Haltech has traction control but then you need extras to measure wheel speed / slip etc etc and then you need to set it all up / get it working right.
And if i set it up with the standard R34 TCS it will be just about as useless as it used to be...
Not sure if it's worth it...?
As far as I'm concerned any of those 'made up' internet slang words mean you are speaking another language.
But mix up your 'to, too, two' or 'you're, your' etc while attempting English and it's just plain slack.
But srsly, your exhaust is fine.
Lol. 'to' and 'too' - two (hehe) different words.
The problem will be with volume, but I wouldn't worry about it (unless you get defected).
The size shouldn't make any difference to emissions as long as there is still a cat.
Seriously though - we are talking turbo cars here, so even with (and possibly even more so due to a larger turbo) huge power ie 400rwkw+ you are going to need to wind that hair dryer up before it starts making any sort of power. It's not like you don't know what's coming shortly after your foot goes down... Just go easy on the loud pedal when the conditions don't suit and you'll be fine.
If you can't manage that perhaps you should let your gf drive it home in the rain...?
