  4. I just prefer not to use it, why can't it be after parker and low beam. Then there is the annoying lights on and off at dusk n dawn. Honestly I think I'm intelligent enough to know when to do things like use my headlights or windscreen wipes, I guess I'm old school where I prefer to drive the car and not have it do all the thinking for me.
  5. I have thought of that, but the markings would be wrong - still if i take off the markings....
  6. I do a lot of country work and have the parkers on during the day and usually forget to turn them off - which is where the auto would be useful if i bypass the light sensor. What i hate is at night switching in the order of - OFF - AUTO - PARKER - FULL BEAM. This makes the full beam flash as i click through which makes people think im flashing the lights at them, especially the neibours across the road whos bedroom is opposite our driveway
  7. Thats the easy solution taked care of, CHEERS! Now, anyone want to put their hands up for running the auto lights for parkers only??
  8. Well I just dont like em, however I wouldnt mind if it only worked with parker lights and not full beam. Would this be difficult to do? Also, will disconnecting the sensor disable the auto lights altogether? If only I had a wiring diagram....
  9. Does anyone know what this is about??? http://nissan-data-voice.software.informer.com/1.0/
  10. Will be adding one of these kits soon but need to know where to wire it in and to which wires. Does anyone know. Will make this thread into a DIY as cant find the info I need and have not had replies to threads on the subject. Here is the link to the kit http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KC5435
  11. So... which wire is it?? (series 2 stag)
  12. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-1998-NISSAN-STAGEA-AUTECH-VER-JAPANESE-SALES-CATALOG-/200597878947?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eb490b8a3 For anyone interested
  13. Hope I fixed it, heres the pic. Pretty much fell out of the hole (green plug as seen in pic) and after taking the bottom out of the heater blower, which was full of water - realised I could put my hand right up the vent and to the plug hole. So I cleaned up the hole and green plug, glued it in with guttering silicon and see how it goes. Noticed there was a foam piece under the black cover (can see a shiny bit to the right of green plug) it was wet too so I took it off, hope this wasnt a bad idea?? Thanks for all your help.

  21. First we used a rotary buff to polish with, then the orbital with an egg crate type pad to get rid of marring (the swirly bit you see after polishing) sort of like what you see here http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/6x6-High-Gross-PolishingPad-Buffer-Pad-Car-Polisher-/180681082040?pt=AU_Power_Tools&hash=item2a116e84b8 but its for velcro backed polishers. Just make sure the polish doesnt get too dry and keep the pad clean.
