  1. Wow.. gonna suck posting after that white GTR (Looks mint!!) but here are some pics from the JDMWA cruise today.
  2. Looks like you got some great shots Craig! I didn't see any cops either.. surprising given the WRX boys were busting out the anti-lag after you left
  3. If anyone from SOR is going, come up with us on the inbound cruise Details here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=264874380220990&set=a.243199009055194.58920.236069339768161&type=1&ref=nf
  4. Is that the one that comes down when a button in the cabin is pressed? A mate had one on his Supra but had to get it removed when the FMIC was installed. Never knew these were an option on Skylines too!
  5. One of my mates just bought one online after heaps of research and it should arrive some time this week. I'll let you know how it goes
  6. Forgot to add, there are many threads on here about how to keep the ol' 26 alive. Follow the information there, set rev limiter to 7,000RPM and you should be fine mate.
  7. Bought my R32 GTR which had a fresh R34 motor and brand new GT3582R after searching for about a year. 1994 V-Spec II. Was a weekend track car that wasn't daily driven, but when I drove it, I drove it HARD! All fluids done when I first bought it and fresh Motul 300V every 3000KMs. Didn't have a SINGLE problem even with all that abuse on the track, although it did have a Greddy oil cooler and all the usual oil mods like 8L sump, baffles etc. Sold it a few months ago for my asking price of $26,000 to the first person to see the car. This shows that a good GTR is still easily worth $20,000, or even $25,000!
  8. Full genuine kit: ~$15,000 shipped. Decent fiberglass copy: ~$2000 shipped. For wheels, engine mods etc. I totally agree. But when we're talking $10,000+ difference in price.. for a difference in finish only someone who looked very closely at the car can notice.. and even then might not even be able to..
  9. The votes speak for themselves really..
  10. Do it. They barely fill up the rear guards on a R34 which are even bigger.
  11. A++++ Great seller, would definitely use again
  12. Make sure you actually take your bulb out and check the bulb type. I've seen lots of variation in bulb sizes between R32's
  13. Get a new dash and just stick with black.
  14. I'm running 265's on my 10.5's and it fits well. Could probably run 285's but that would mean removal of guard lining.
  15. I can imagine tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars was spent by Nissan paying it's engineers and doing wind tunnel tests on these front bars, so why wouldn't you use that information when choosing a front bumper?
  16. 1. Pay for inspection by a well known workshop in the seller's city. 2. If the inspection results are good, fly over to see it/make the transaction in person. 3. Drive your new car to the Syd/Melb depot. 4. Pick it up from Perth depot in about 2-3 weeks. 5. Profit?!
  17. Have you asked him what he did about shipping when he bought it? Pretty sure he went all the way to Melbourne to find it.

    Gauges

Judging from the pic in your sig, +1 for oil temp and oil cooler.
  19. I used Interparcel and shipped a set of 18" tyres from Perth to Sydney for around $50 via TNT.
