Hey guys. Recently sold my car and buyer decided to buy it without the stock rims. So these are for sale now. Pretty sure these are the same size as standard R32 GTR rims other than the fact that they're 17'' as opposed 16''. They're also made by BBS. Rims in almost perfect condition with some tiny (few mm long) blemishes on the lip. Includes all centre caps. Chasing $800 ONO with tyres. Located in Perth, WA. Buyer to organise interstate shipping. Hey all. I'm currently looking at purchasing an R34 GT-R and found one in Sydney that looks like a good deal. It's had a forged bottom end rebuild in the last 10,000 kms. So I rang up the well known northern Sydney workshop to ask about parts used and to get a bit more info about the car. I was glad to find out all the components used were all top grade, however when I asked what boost the motor is running while in it's run in period I was told it was run for an hour then boosted straight to 23 PSI. I was always under the impression an engine had to be gently broken in so the piston rings can mate properly with the cylinder walls. What are your opinions on this? Should an engine be broken in for a few thousand km's before it's run on high boost and dyno tuned?

Called up Envy today. Car is running 500CC injectors. Was told they're pretty much maxed out at close to 100% cycle duty and will need to be upgraded if chasing any more power.

Found the car I want. $26,000 with the rims and tyres or $24,000 on stockies.

When installing the clear cam cover make sure you get a spacer between the CAS and cam cover. The plastic cover is much thinner than the OEM one so if you tighten it to the same tightness it will smash the teeth off yours CAS!

FYP. A "friend of a friend of mine" has been running decats on all his cars and is yet to get a yellow for it even after being pulled over for inspections quite a few times.

Pretty sure R34 GTT's and GT-R's have the same headlights so finding a used pair shouldn't be too $$.

I guess on the bright side.. if you had insurance, a write off would be better than a repair that's been thrashed out?
