  1. Who could help to find out if this square setup would fit a v36 sedan?
  2. Largest contributor of surgical site infections -not following aseptic technique.
  3. The surgical outcomes are good with compartment syndrome. I'm sure you have been told it involves release of the fascia of the muscle. If you have been doing non-operative treatment (physio, stretching etc) and it is not working, then get the fascia released and be done with it. Pressure will go down and the muscle will get the oxygen it requires while getting rid of the metabolic waste products that build up within it. I've never seen much benefit of physio with compartment syndrome. Shin splints and calf muscle cramps yes, but not with true compartment syndrome.
  4. The rear of the R35 looks spot on, but the front doesn't make it look anything special. If it had the lights square on infront say like the current BMWs (or like the R34) it would look much nicer
  5. that's why I wouldn't buy another wrx again. Too much expense needed to modify them properly. Had to build engine and gearbox to handle much larger turbo and nitrous.
  6. sorry for no replies lately, studying for an exam. I test drove the 335i's and Audi S4 before I bought the 370GT. They were OK for daily driving, but not much thrills, much like the 370GT. To answer some of the questions above. No, I have no patience and little time to fix niggling problems associated with an older car. I do miss the raw feeling, as my last wrx was very 'raw', but not at the expense of reliability. By the way the later model R34s that are a pick above the rest are not that much cheaper than the Euro's (2007 M3), and interestingly not that far off the 2009 R35s (maybe these R34s are over-priced?)
  7. just had a look at a few. 42K 'buy it now' for plates DA WOG. WTF???
  8. Nice info! Interestingly I contacted a friend who has owned a couple of GTRs and has driven R34s. he text messaged me back saying " ....they (the GTR) are not normal. My favourite cars". He also said another mate of his has a ferrari (didnt say model), and he would still rather the R34.
  9. Cheers Terry for the offer. I'm sure our paths will cross some day.
  10. That is very funny:) Had a patient come in the other month who competes and runs a car club I'll end up joining his club, so cornering hard would be a nice thing.
  11. I also owned a modded R33 GTS25T, a std soarer and 18 months back a very highly modded wrx. I also miss the fun factor of modded turboed cars. I thought about supercharging the V36 but I have a feeling after reading some posts on myg37.com that it is not the thing to do.
  12. I've contacted a mate who is going to organise a test drive in the next 2 weeks. Decided no need to wait. Looking forward to feeling how raw they are.
  13. I was considering the 2nd hand market. Like 2005 M5's are around 80-90K, 2007 M3 and C63's are under 100K, RS4's are also about 80K. It seems the nicer R34s are not too far off these prices. Just with the above comment. What makes the GTR special then. Or is it all hype?
  14. Happy Easter all. Hopefully in the next 3-4 months, once I get my home constructed, I would like to purchase a 34GTR. I have never driven a GTR, and don't really want to go and test drive any, as i am not serious about buying right now. Just don't want to be wasting anyone's time. For people who know, how does the 34GTR compare to more modern vehicles like the e90 M3, C63 AMG or the Audi RS4 ? Even for that matter to the current V8 FPVs and HSV's? I love the look and I am sure with even mild mods and tuning it would be fast. As fast as the above cars which are all 300kw+ ? How is the ride quality? Can it be comfortable enough to drive on Sydney roads regularly, or is every road imperfection going to cause pain? (if yes, then I'll keep my current car as a daily) What is the transmission like compared to more modern 6 spds? Any feedback welcome. Thanks in advance. Oz.
  15. The R34 looks the best out of the 3. It should also have the better gearbox and software
  16. once he finds out the expense of the band-aids, screw drivers, duct tape, deodorant and WD-40 he'll be compelled to sell.
  17. What's the colour? How many Km's? Were you the first owner? If your not willing to post pics don't expect to sell it fast.
  18. What a great looking car!! I'm also finishing up on building a house in 3 months and will be in the market for an 34GTR. Have never driven one, but for some reason the 34 attracts me more than a 35.
  19. Could you elaborate on why. I have been contemplating visiting their showroom on Pmatta Rd for an R34.
  20. the front looks too long. The rear shot looks the best.
  21. Interestingly no 2010 models on carsales yet. Usually at least a few people will buy on emotion to realise after 12 months that they can't afford it, or its not suitable for them.
