  1. Don't worry about it...It's exactly the same as the Pelverata Stage at TWP- straight off the stage and onto the gravel road, you will find all the rocks will clear themselves as soon as you get back on the tarmac. We are leaving this Sunday, really looking forward to it!
  2. Was it fully registered or only SI? If it was SI the rego is non transferable and the plates would have had to be handed in upon change of ownership.
  3. You won't fit any wider than 235's onto a 4-6 without making a few major changes. I have trouble running any wider than 225's on my 6.5 without them cutting into the guards.
  4. That corner is quickly becoming famous
  5. Footage quality looks great, whats your thoughts on Radcam vs POV Ben? I have a POV 1.5 but was contemplating on a second cam, the video quality from the Radcam no doubt eclipses that of the POV and even the first clip you posted I assume was using the inbuilt mic? (if so the onboard audio seemed to be a bit better than that of the POV) just wondering if there are any issues that you have found with the Radcam that you don't like? Also I guess it's a bit harder to edit and upload the HD footage than it is with the POV?
  6. Pretty sure it was from Skyline Really not looking forward to that action in your clip We are heading over on the 31st October and staying for the week, hoping to get at least 3 solid days of recce in....looks like we will be needing every bit of it!
  7. This one Andrew? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dncA-P1fntw...player_embedded
  8. I have a peltor fmt200 intercom in my car, it was damn expensive but suffers from terrible electrical interference, it is hardwired to the cars power system. Does anyone have any tips for solving the feedback issues, is it as simple as running it on 9v power or can I purchase some sort of filter to place on the power line to cancel out any noise? Any help would be greatly appreciated....and sorry for thread hijack
  9. I just received an expression of interest email for Mt Buller sprint stating that if 60 entries are submitted it will go ahead.
  10. Just wanted to find out some finer details in terms of booking accommodation early, it seems that a few places in Mansfield are already booked for the week leading up to the event (which will be the time we plan to recce). For the actual event will it be based in Mansfield for Friday evening then Buller Sat & Sun night?
  11. Have you factored in the extra consumption that you will get from running E85? Might make it an unviable option to run in a street car unless you plan on driving around with Jerry cans, the fact that it is unavailable at the pump in Tassie makes it a bit of a logistical nightmare for making the switch. I am about to convert my tarmac rally car to E85 but even with a race car the excess consumption will prove to be a headache shifting the car to events and in between stages without carrying spare fuel (which unfortunately is not always an option). I know from feedback from a few of the mainland guys that have made the switch that usage has increased 30-40%....food for thought anyway
  12. How long before the website and official info is launched Stuart? Still wanting a helmet and hans too
  13. Yes I believe that is the case as Evo IV-IX 5 speed boxes are all the same.
  14. Last Mini car club sprint day he did a 59.12 I believe.
  15. For sure, every second is damn hard to come by! E85 is on the horizon very soon..... need something to keep up to you blokes with all the power !!!!!!
  16. Yeah sorry guys...that sort of came out wrong!! It's just that looks are deceiving - if you looked at Matt Rodgers Supra would you think that was capable of 59 second laps? Just wish my car was that fast...or even partly close to that would be nice! Shane- the day was well worth it mate, instructors were really good and seemed to know their stuff, my car is still set up for tarmac rally so is way too soft for the circuit, was scraping the tyres through the sweeper and the esses to the point where it felt like they were going to come through the floor. By the end of the day with some guidance I managed to settle down my corner entry and knock a second off my best time around there, even with the current set up. Well worth signing up for no matter what level you are at.
  17. fraid not mate...takes a little more than removing the total interior to run 58's Alas they were a long way off being "fast " at basky.
  18. 61-62's nothing outstanding I believe.
  19. Hey Funz, I always browse this forum to read the motorsport section..thought it was time I signed up!
  20. They were here to attend the John Bowe high performance driving course held at Baskerville on Monday, there was also a Daytona, Evo ix and a 360kw supercharged ford super pursuit ute in their group.
