  9. Hi All, i have decided to part ways with my beloved chunky (in a nice way) Stagea. :-) Location: Green Valley, NSW. First of all i would like to say that this is a bit of an URGENT sale. Please take the time to read it all. This is a great car. It has only traveled 107,000km, it has Black Leather interior, heated front seats, reclining rear seats, one touch auto fold down rear seats, pioneer mp3 player, Factory Sat Nav screen with real time car information, factory dusk sensing Xenon headlights and a lot of compartments. The AWD and Attessa are great features. It also comes with Nissan Dealer Upgraded alarm with a screen (as seen in the picture). The car has been very well looked after. Serviced every 5000-6000km and is a real pleasure to drive. Platinum plugs put in 12000km ago along with Transmission and Transfer case fluids. Belts also changed less than 1000km ago. It currently also has a set of 18" Gram Lights with new tyres which have only traveled 2000km. The suspension fitted is BC Racing Coilovers which are damper and height adjustable. it handles great with the damper setting set to low. An after-market Transmission cooler has also been fitted along with the fluid change. it also comes with the Factory 17" rims (about 80% tread). it will be a shame to see it go and i'm sure if you have ever driven one of these cars you will know what i'm talking about. Great luxury turbo import. Always Garaged. Rego until 28 July 2011. Great value for money with lots of go. i'm selling my car because my work has relocated to a different location (sydney cbd) and due to lack of parking and the cost of secure parking in the city (about $400 per month), it is no longer practical for me to own this car. i do not wish to leave this car parked at train stations or public parking areas (some people say i'm a little anal about it). This is the reason that i wish to sell it so that someone else who will enjoy driving it. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Come and see it for yourself and make me an offer. Price - $16,999 ono. Need to Sell quickly,so any reasonable offer will be considered. Thanks Stefan 0433 99 44 53 [email protected]

  11. sure, lol. i could give you a hand over a weekend and we can get it done, only because i dont think i'd be able to sell it without headlights. :-) even my bro did his EK civic headlights after he saw me do it. LOL

Thanks Stefan
  13. hey guys, its appears to be heat related. the warmer the days the lower the idle. thats about it, i guess it was just me being to paranoid. lol. iamhe77 - i never had an issue with the CEL coming up, and it doesnt come up at all. and yes now that a couple of people have confirmed that theres nothing wrong with it, i agree, i lower idle is a lovely thing. sorry havent had a chance to get on here and let you know that everything with the car is fine, just been busy with work and finding a way to keep the big girl. dont want to Sell her but i have to. dont want to be leaving her at train stations carparks. it was a sad day last week but the add went up. :-( Thanks for all the help and ideas from all you guys
  14. Hi All, After having it checked and no issues found i've decided to give up on trying to find an issue that doesnt seem to exist. when i was at the workshop they cleaner the afm (it was really dirty) and performed a smoke test to see if any leaks can be found. Nothing came up and i was told everything appears to be fine. various test were performed to check the vaccum and the throttle body movement and it all went well. the idle actually gets around 550-600rpm now. i'm happy with that. and i've noticed that with the diff ambient temps it does move 50-100rpm up or down. on a hot day it does drop less but no rough idle. :-) i've performed all resets, the throttle body was cleaned about 3 months ago and after replacing the pcv valve it appears to be fine. i need to stop being so paranoid. :-) Thanks for all your help guys. Stefan
  15. it gets down to about 550rpm and on the odd occasion down to almost 500 but never less. last week it had a rough idle at about 550rpm, but after replacing the pcv valve, (which had turned to a 2 way, free-flowing valve) it doesnt idle as rough. its still gets down to 550 rpm but no where as rough. does yours drop straight down to 550rpm or does it work its way down after you stop? i'm not sure if yours is the same as i described mine in my original post where after stopping and leaving it in D, it will drop to 750rpm and then slowing it will drop down to 550rpm. working its way down about 50rpm every second or so. i've had the Stagea for just over 18 months and the idle has always been around 700-750rpm. unless something was wrong the whole time and now its fine. LOL i dont know what else to think.
  16. just an update, i replaced the PCV valve genuine from Nissan $56. still has very low idle but it still doesnt stall and the rough low idle isnt as bad. i spent about an hour going over the hoses, even got under the car to have a look, and also cleaned the plugs with electro parts cleaner. still no luck, next step is to take it and get it checked out. i'll be going to Unigroup on Saturday to get it looked at and hopefully fixed. thanks for the help guys. much appreciated. Stefan
  17. not sure where the info came from..... but i'm going by what Andy mentioned, and also taking into consideration the other comments. the only reason i think its plenum pressure related is because of the regulator hose popping off the plenum........... i'm tempted to go over the entire engine bay with a electro cleaner and check/replace all hoses. LoL.
  18. i did the ecu reset a couple of times to make sure i got it right and still no good. the problem is still there and to make it worse last night on the way home i gave it a little bit of a boot full, as i normally do, and when i stopped at a set of lights it got really lumpy. so i pulled over, opened the bonnet to find that it had kicked off the little hose from the plenum that leads to the fuel regulator. i can only assume that the plenum is not properly pressurised and that seems to be the weakest link. on a good note i ordered a PCV valve from nissan and waiting for a call back for a pick up tomorrow morning and should be in by midday tomorrow and i'll go from there. i will also be checking all hoses that run to and from the plenum along with the boost hoses. if that doesn't solve the problem i think a visit to a work shop might be on the cards. any recommendation about where to take it? Thanks again :-)
  19. sorry mate, here you go, the pic that you posted at the start is from these guys........ lol http://www.musecret.com.au/prod1773.htm Cheers
  20. hi Aaron, you can also give these a go. http://www.musecret.com.au/prod1187.htm Cheers.
  21. Thanks Andy, your quick response it greatly appreciated. it does help a lot as i now have something to go by and i will also give the throttle body a good scrub and at the same time can make sure that the plenum gaskets are fine. seeing as you recommend the pcv to be replaced i will call Nissan tomorrow and see when i can get one. i will let you know how i go as this might come in handy for others. Thanks Again. Stefan
  22. Hi All, It looks like i'll have to bring this topic back as it appears to be the closest to what i'm experiencing. i have a 2001 rs four and lately its been having a bit of a Low Idle issue. The problem started about 2 weeks ago and from what i have noticed it only happens when i come to a complete stop. The idle drops to about 800rpm, which i thought would be normal as its been around there for the last year and a half. but after a couple of seconds it starts to drop the idle speed down to about 550rpm. it drops it at a slow rate of about 50rpm at a time until it reaches the 550rpm mark. its not stalling so i guess thats a good thing atm. i am not getting any lights on the dash or any misfire so i dont know what to think?!?!? The car is stock apart from a plenum spacer and a transmission cooler. it has so far done 105,000km and apart from the rear left rocker seal leak, which was fixed, it has had no other issues. I dont know why, but for some reason tonight as i parked the car in the garage i decided to perform a ECU fault code check and even though the CEL (MIL) wasn't on it came back with 0235. checking it against the ecu fault codes i found here, its the same thing as what was mentioned earlier in this topic, P0235 = Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Malfunction What and where is the Turbocharger boost sensor A? what was the solution to the original post as i cannot see how this is related to the ATTESA? Please help as i'm not sure how much longer it will go until it starts to stall? Is it possible that there is an air leak from a vacuum line somewhere? as this seems to be the more common reason for this error according to google. has anyone had any issues with the plenum spacer leaking? maybe my plenum gaskets are no good? what about the afm? or should i just bite the bullet and take it to nissan? and which NIssan as not all of them would look at imports? i'm from south west sydney but am willing to travel all over sydney to get my Stagea fixed. sorry for the long essay but i just want it sorted. Thanks in advance. Stefan
  23. nicely done mate. not hard at all. :-) btw the spacer is already on so i'll let you know how it goes when i can get it out for a nice long drive. :-)
  24. Hi Eddie, that was me. i saw you ahead of me so i thought i'd catch up to say hi. thanks mate but its still a working progress. :-)
