  1. Price is a little way out of my budget. Guess I'll have to pass it. But thanks for the offer.
  2. Where are you located? And is the car engineered yet?
  3. Forgot to mention that I'm located in SE suburbs of Melbourne. Also interested in stock non turbo ones as well.
  4. Hi all. I'm relatively new in this forum, so please be a little patient with me. Looking to buy a R32/R33 GTST. Preferably stock or not too heavily modded as I'm not too mechanical minded and plus EPA's hot on the heels of almost every skyline on the street. (Bastards.... How about someone telling them about the scooped up commodores flying around on the streets.....) Price range preferably below $8500.
  5. Hi all I'm after a couple of things, namely z32 front brake callipers, SR20DET overflow bottle, veilside rear bar. Anyone has these or knows anyone who are selling these, please let me know. Thanks!!!
  6. Not trying to throw in cold water, but maybe try working down the price more. Can tell that much wrench work has been put into the ride, but if the price is going to be way way above the market value, no one's going to turn their heads back to look at it the 2nd time.
  7. More detailed pictures can come only after i get the car back. But due to the suspension issue, it might take some time, maybe a week or so. That be alright? cheers Danny
  8. Hey man Just got a call finally from my mechanic about my 2. Service's basically done, except that the suspensions (dampers and struts, i think) and ball joints are to be changed. So probably only be able to bring it back either tomorrow or Monday. But I'll be popping down to his shop tomorrow to take a few pictures. So once that's done, I'll post them on and tell me what you think.
  9. Damn.... sounds much more economical than my 2. Also got a couple more questions, if you don't mind. - From the info on the blue plate, your car seems to be an import. Was it imported through you or the owner before you? - The original engine is non turbo. Was a RB25DET swapped into it by the owner before you? - If an engine swap was done, were there any engineer's certs for it? - I know there're no original logbooks as it's an import, but do you have your service history on it?
  10. Any other differences other than the auto dash possibly having the shift indicators? I've looked up pictures on both manual and auto of a same model and can't quite see any other differences on the steering and dash.
  11. How many kms did a tank last for you? The low fuel light came on at 400km for mine and when I filled it up at the pump, the meter read 44L+, which means I had about 10L left before. So i reckon about 450 - 500km for a full tank of 95 octane.
  12. I haven't taken any pictures of it just yet. Once I get it back, then I'll take some pictures for your view. By the way, what's the power at the rear wheels like? I don't know about mine yet. Planning to get a dyno sheet done after the service. I won't expect too much cause everything's stock. But anyway, like you said, we'll discuss more after both cars are back from the mechanics.
  13. Hi. I presume that you're asking me about my 2. It's coming close to a 177000 km. It's a '91 SW20 N/A, nothing to be excited about. Just sent it for its first service since I got it a month ago and only getting it back on saturday. Had similar seemingly misfiring running problem like yours, but not sure about the source until i get it back from the mechanic. Felt a sway in the rear occasionally during cornering and I'm not sure if the rear sway bar is screwed or that's how the design of the car is due to the car's tendency to have "snap oversteer". But again, I'll only know when the service is done. As for mods, the previous owner changed the rims to 17x9 ones ( i think, but 17" for sure), changed the thermostat kick in for the radiator from 180 to 140 degrees so that the side vent fans will kick in once the temp gauge reads 140 degrees. To be honest with you, the car used to be a written off one and the previous owner got it back registered and VicRoads approved about 2 years ago. He claimed that it was only damage to the rear suspension rod near the left rear end and it happened in the hands of the owner before him, but i suspected more than that. But couldn't find out more or do anything since it ran very well, at least in this month i had it. But it's currently registered till july. I'm located in the SE suburbs of Melbourne, so probably it's gonna be quite a problem for either of us to see both cars. So maybe we can work out something if you're really interested in it. Looking forward. Danny
