  1. not sure of your purpose. I'd seriously look into a challenger. think you said like 15k so a slighyly used 2011' v6 mustang just to CRUISE around in. hopefully get slips to keep it rhd. japanese cars are better to mod but i assume you already have a skyline.
  2. ok so theres a 5 kilometer diffence between the wheels. it locks with this 5 kilometer differnce. forcing the faster wheel to travel the same speed as the slower one. how long does it take until the wheels are free again. do they ever unlock mid corner while accelerating. feathering the thottle? does it take a whole revolution of a wheel to unlock or something
  3. your main issue will be the headlights. I can't see why you couldn't get that engineered. also the width but i doubt they will pick up on that. I saw a build video online its a stupid amount of work the panels don't simply bolt on. you can't register that one here because they were sold here in 94'
  4. I'm trying to understand them better. thinking of a 2 way adjustable one. when they lock do they lock tires at the same speed for example one wheel is going 60 the other 55 when locked and accelerating. your wheels are spinning at 70 and 65? does it try to constantly make them spin at equal speeds? my other theory is it can make the inside wheel spin even faster than the outside wheel depending on what you set it at the initial torque... while braking does it unlock while the wheels are spinning at equal speed until a certain ratio is broken. also just theoretically if entering a large roundabout and doing completing a 180 degree turn so your going the way you came from. how many times would you expect it too lock and unlock. just feathering the throttle but cornering hard enough to break traction. second example. enter this corner full acceleration braking hard then back on the throttle hard then using abrupt throttle input is it going to be unlocking and locking constantly more or less locking and unlock compared to the earlier example? finally you enter this round about at regular speed how much differently would it react to a open diff basically not touching any pedals just coasting through it. why is it that people find these so hard to manage. i hope this makes enough sense. also is there a car that ever came with one from the factory. if not why?
  5. theres 2 ganador threads atm. i was supposed to post here. the slant upwards are m3 copies.
  6. interestingit pays too google. i figured from the name and fenders/side profile it was.
  7. it could be bought. over 10k for panels. another 10 for fitting and paint. may as well be 10k for wheels. I did see one for sale in canada for 20k. but I didn't have the cash spare. whether you can register it once fitted is questionable.
  8. don't think it's been posted and I'm pretty sure it is..... http://www.veilsidejpn.com/4509/4509gtr.html
  9. edit posted in the wrong thread there's two about ganadors atm. I think they work great offer a little weight saving. there's an angle in the mirror so you can see the gutter easily. there supposed to repel water mine don't though. attach a wide angle mirror to the rear view and you won't have any blind spots. if you add carbon and indicators and they start getting pricey. the op posted slr replica's I can't think of a car they would look okay on. maybe a 70's roadster. http://ssv.com.au/door_mirrors universal mirrors would look better if they fit. and you don't mind manual operation
  10. it's just for a carbon hood. yeah i think it was in braeside what's their name? in the future it will be custom headlights tail lights then power mods. I'll know their website when i see it I had called them before. the guys were reasonable over the phone. I had previously called many vass engineers and all of them wouldn't even contemplate the idea. these guys were willing if i meet their requirements.
  11. it was mentioned here before but I'm unable to find it searching. they were near frankston and really cheap to use. not those decv or whatever they call themselves useless guys. doesn't have to be this particular one any other suggestions for engineering work? that aren't excessively strict.
  12. I'v decided to do this to a side project. how do you join 2 peices properly? some area's have taken a long time and many re-tries such as mirrors. I'v stopped caring about little creases and once completely covered will redo them maybe. my thumbs hurt.. what do you guys charge per hour to do it professionally, I'm not in brisbane though just curious.
  13. probably photoshoped definitely my style
  14. well i use the trapster poi on a tom tom running on a htc diamond. it won't tell you about mobile police and mobile camera's but has the most up to date poi list. on that phone i used trapster app and in 2 hours it amounted to about $350 usage. tested it on my iphone4 which has a 500mb plan used about 70%. I'm suprised everyone elses is using such little data whilst roaming. there's clearly something going on with that app and my phones which is out of the ordinary. not 100% certain but i remember some form of review for a bentley continental gt. I think they come with radar detectors. so basically what can the cops do there as its factory fitted.
  15. trapster is great for tom tom updates. or too perhaps check the route your taking. I wouldn't drive around with it turned on. unless you have an optus unlimited data plan. next time your bill comes in you will be in for a shock. so are lidar lasers still in use? unless you are constantly driving over 140 or always have a spare few thousand readily available its not worth your while. the bad part about it is people with them keep trying to reach new top speeds. I just know I'd be addicted to it..
