  1. Better view of the rear. Definately needs more width to fill out the guards, an aggressive offset, and more low.
  2. Throttle body wrinkles. Still taped up
  3. Painted rear calipers, wheel arches, and hubs black. Also put on a different set of rims. Have an idea of what rims I eventually want on the car, but they will come later..
  4. Moved the 31 out of the garage to degrease the engine bay. Used kenco degreaser and a karcher high pressure washer.
  5. Still using standard ECU mate
  6. Painted fuel rail. Throttle body painted in vht wrinkle
  7. Home made harmonic balancer puller
  8. Started removing old gasket remains on the block
  9. New water pump from Nissan Paid out the ass, but wanted genuine. Decided to take the head off to check the head gasket and replace it. Also it would make getting the manifold studs out a lot easier. Head gasket was in good condition, and the head seems to look alright also. Cut my hand open getting the head studs off.. slipped and gashed my hand on the firewall.. -.- The head is now off, and i plan to put the new intake and exhaust studs in, assemble the plenum, fuel rail, etc onto head before re-installing it onto the block with a set off new head bolts (as they are TTY so I'm told). Bought a few more things.. VHT paint for the throttle body, plenum, rocker cover, ryco fuel and oil filters, new extractors-to-cat gasket, intake studs etc.. Also have retaped the motor loom so it's all freshened up. VHT wrinkle paint. Starting to slowly wrinkle.. Now to go over it with a couple of coats of VHT engine enamel (blue). Finished product. Turned out quite decent for my first time using wrinkle paint. Started cleaning and prepping the plenum Before: After (still wet): Actually wrinkled very well, will have more pics in the near future.
  10. Welding completed, sikaflexed, painted. Box section riveted back on. Will get more pics of box section when i paint the outside. Cut the battery tray out completely as I decided to move the battery to the boot. Also removed the air filter brackets and welded them up (pic is before welding).
  11. Yes, it seems to be very common with 31s.
  12. New gaskets. Just need one for extractors to cat R33 washer bottle cap as a well needed replacement Top view of engine bay. Will do a comparison at the end
  13. Removed the a/c core from its box and will put the interior a/c ducts back together once welding has finished. Am also considering running dual fans in front of the radiator seeing as there is no condenser in the way, and hence more room.
