  1. Went out tonight to my cousins 21st at a pub out east. Spotted this in the carpark and had to park next to it. The other half and my mother didn't appreciate having to walk a mile to the door when there were spots right out front, but hey, it was called for . Unfortunately it was still there when I left so chances are the owner wont know I was there. If the owners on here, thats a sweet looking ride!! I'd be keen to know what suspension your running as the stance on the back looked sweet as. mine on the left.
  2. This should help. S1 with Dayz front and an S2 with full Dayz kit. Green one in the foreground is an S1, note the headlights, the're the dead giveaway. White one in the Background is an S2, has the high-beams in the front grill separate from the rest of the headlights. S1 was from 95-97 and the S2 goes from 98 - 01 (I think, might be a year or two out on each side).
  3. There all coming out of the woodwork these last few days. Saw another white C34 S2 with a Dayz front on Bourke st in the CBD this morning. Had a website on its rear quarter, bu I wasn't close enough to read it.
  4. There with bells on. As per last time if anybody's interested in a breaky pre-meet ill be at the Maccas on Springvale and Wellington road from 9:30.
  5. Well turns out I didn't need a cruise to have an import-a-rific night. Day on on GT5, finally got my pearl white RSfour. Back to the real world: Off to a mates place tonight/last night. See a black S2 Autech on Grattan street (plates DVLISH I think, sweet looking car). Another white S2 on Maroondah hwy, exchanged waves. Then get to a mates place, he has a Green C34. Then... ...Spot and get spotted by WGNPWR during the drive home. Then finally have a couple of "excited departures" from the lights, with a very nice R32 on Alexandra Pde. 4 Stags not including mine, not bad for a quiet night out PS, WGNPWR, your car looks tuff!
  6. According to the VicRoads website, there's an alert for Maroondah Hwy but no road closures. Weather forecast is still clearing showers tomorrow. Might have to see what the weather does this arvo,
  7. Spotted a silver S1 on Burke rd in Ivanhoe last night. Exchanged waves on the way past.
  8. Hopefully see you there Alex! I'll be at the Maccas on the corner of Sprinvale Road Wellington rd (just round the corner from the Monash meet) from about 9:15 if anyone is interested in a Breaky pre-meet.
  9. Black Dayz kitted S2 on Little Bourke street on the way home from work to get lunch. looked very nice.
  10. Easiest route would be to go straight up Springvale rd and join up with Whitehorse Road/Maroondah Hwy. Can pull up in the service road if we get seperated. +1 vote for Marysville.
  11. Healesville would act as a good join-up point for the East and West groups.
  12. 1(me, White S2) + 1(mate, Green S1). If you need a hand with organising anything let me know.
  13. Leon, Please let us know if you go ahead with the purchase as I'd be really interested in something like this. I'm assuming this plugs into the standard RCA jacks on a Xanavi equipped C34? Also if you are going ahead with it, can you let us know what inputs/outputs it has. I'm sure I saw it posted somewhere but cant for the life of me find it (gonna kick myself if its in this thread somewhere). -Aj
  14. As mentioned I'm a fan of the Marysville idea, think it would be nice to support the local community there (afternoon tea at one of the local cafe's etc). I've got a mate with an S1 who's keen as well. Monash car park would be a good place to meet up as there's plenty of space there to line em up. I've organised to borrow the old's SLR for the day so I'm happy to take camera duty. The cam also does 720p video at a reasonable framerate so I'll be sure to have the missus on duty during the drive itself.
  15. In. Will keep the date clear. Note to self.. car wash Saturday 5th.
  16. V. Interested. Will do my best to keep the schedule clear. Ps. Marysville idea is a good one!
  17. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooort

  18. Bright Yellow S2 inbound on the Eastern at about 12:20 today. Was heading outbound, all too fast for the light-flash, wave etc.
  19. Possibly, I do live and work in the CBD. I walk to work however so the car only comes out after hours. If you see me out and about be sure to jump on the Horn.
  20. Spotted a white S2 with Epic Body Kit of some description on King Street this morning. Had SA plates.
  21. Actually it was 8:43... ....And here's the photo he took... :whistling: Was trying to get up alongside you but traffic wasn't cooperating.
  22. Well so much for buying a car that's a little bit different and not seen very often. In the 2 weeks I've had it I've now seen ANOTHER exact twin (unless it was the same car driven by two different drivers). Saw it on King Street just around the corner from my place. White S2 Dayz kit, Exact twin, right down to the crappy exhaust tip and tarnished burnt looking DAYZ badge. I was about to yell out "That @&*% stole my car!!" when I realized the plates were different and the "Shiga Nissan" sticker was missing from the back. ...Needless to say I still ran home to check, just in case. Also spotted on King Street a Black S2, Noticed Leather interior and woodgrain Steering wheel so I'm assuming its a Prime Edition. Looked very nice.
  23. Thanks for that guys. Be sure to play with the headlights in the alley near my place next time I take her out at night. Any ideas on getting behind that trim? Have I missed something or does it just need a little more less-gentle persuation?
  24. G'day guys I've had by new baby for a week now and I'm well and truly smitten. I have a couple of quick questions however. Firtsty: What do these buttons do. First thought was that it was the one on the right was for the rear wiper, but that's controlled by a knob on the wiper stalk, demist is a button next to the centre diff option. As for the selector switch on the left I have no idea. Secondly: I'm trying to get to the TV tuner to have a look at the inputs as I'm looking into a TV tuner like the HR3 (side question: anyone know where I can lay my hands on one?) I'll start with the pic. From reading these forums I'm lead to believe its behind 'X'. Getting A, B and C out was a simple affair once I located the nuts for B behind the spare wheel cover (10mm socket seems to fit absolutely everything on this car). I left D where it was as I ran out of time to check how it came out and what was under it. E and F where a simple affair. I then got 4 little screw-clip's off (2 behind the E flap and 2 in the doorway off the photo to the left). The interior piece X looked like it should just fold out with some gentle persuasion, however it was stuck fast and I didn't want to risk breaking anything by pulling too hard. Have I missed something? Finally Question C: I've managed to burn through 2 tanks of fuel in quick succession, getting about 340-350k's per tank. I'm putting crap fuel economy down to an excited right foot (going from a non-turb RB30 to RB25DET can have that effect). Once I restrain myself, at what point should I look at replacing things like sensors? I know these things aren't the most fuel efficient but it seems to get into the low end of the spectrum very quickly indeed. Engine is all stock (not even had the boost solenoid bypassed). With Leather seats I expect she would be pretty heavy. Thanks is advance guys!!
  25. Saw my baby's twin sister on Sydney rd about 10 minutes ago. White S2. Looked nice. Gave the lights a flash and a wave.
