My 3 R31 RB20s all ran 7psi stock. Nics red top ECCS redtop stock turbo. ECCS redtop RB25 roller turbo Ran the ceramic RB25 turbo for 11 years at 14 psi, never a problem. The Turbotech is a lot better than Turbospike sorry smart or bleeder type controllers. With your setup 12psi will run forever. Even my RB20DET-R ECCS redtop with a stock bunch of bananas manifold and TO4E turbs ran 7psi stock.

Standard belt system is white-yellow-orange-green-brown-black, with tips in between and 2 black tips on brown. The coloured belt system is for westerners because we like levels and goals etc. The original way was to start with a white belt and with use it slowly got darker. Hence a belt that had been used a gazillion times was black. For westerners, watch out for someone whose black belt is frayed.

Started with Tae kwan do-yellow belt then Shotokan Karate-orange belt then Hapkido-green belt then Uechi Ryu Karate-white only then Matayoshi Kobudo (Okinawan weapons) got my 3rd Dan last November.(stuck this one out ) Very traditional weapons style, Bo staff, Sai, Tunkwa (grindstone handle), Nun Chaku, Eku (oar), Kuha (short hoe) and some other stuff. I now teach it twice a week. I do it to keep flexible, because I ain't getting any younger, and because I enjoy it. Also because it is helping to keep alive a very old martial art (began around the 1600s and passed down through families)

I wonder how similar they are? Rotor size and thickness?

I'm after the front brakes (discs and rotors) off an R33 GTS (the non turbo) They are 4 stud with a 2 piston slider type caliper. Anyone?

[vic] Wrecking R33 Gts-4 Complete Car!
31GUN replied to RJ06's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I'm after a set of 4 stud front discs and the 2 piston calipers (should be the same as R33 GTS N/A?) If you still have them, how much to ship to Sydney? -
Yes banana boy, I'm on the GIO team this year. Only got Winnie overalls though. You shouting?
-
I'm in with Winfield overalls as per usual (except for last year when I wasn't)

I know it's not a Skyline but damn this sounds cool. 4 rotor power! http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2011/06/21/what-the-mazda-787b-sounds-like/#more-15907

There is a difference between rule bending and rule interpretation too. Example- GrpC Bluebird. Rule book says the boost adjustment had to be under the bonnet. And it was, the cable ran from the turbo, behind the firewall, and came out on the drivers side with an adjuster knob. Worked well, adjuster under bonnet, officials happy. Behind the firewall though, cable dovetails, and another adjuster is behind the oil light on the dash. Car conforms to rule. Same setup on the Exa too, only on this car you wound up the ignition key.

Congratultions To Skaife And Lowndes
31GUN replied to DarkGT-R's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
They were the guys I was going for too. Skaife used to drive Nissans for Fred Gibson- Gazelle, R31, & R32. Lowndes used to also drive for Fred Gibson. Was also going for Courtney/Luff cause I did most of my driver training with young Luffy. Hooks -

Was going to go on a 31 club run (to the same place actually) but most of them have piked so I'll lump in with you guys. Still KFC at crossroads meet up? Hooks -
Actually think I may have found the problem Looks to me like the board has seen a bit of heat, bit hard to see here.... Here it is a little closer And this is the culprit on the other side And with the retainer plate removed I don't know if it can be fixed, but I'll be making enquiries before it ends up here Hooks

Made another discovery. That looks to me like a removeable Eprom. So It's definitely been fiddled with at some stage. At the moment I am leaning towards the ecu being cactus. It would be strange to have 1,3, and 5 out from the wiring. I have another red cam cover ECCS ecu coming next week so I'll plug that in and start her up. 3 cylinders:- it's the wiring. 6 cylinders:- it's the ecu. I'll post the results. Lucky this car is my hobby car and not the everyday. Hooks

I did the screwdriver to ear thing on the injectors and they are all firing (I pretty much guessed that anyway because of the unburnt fuel coming out the rear) I tested all the leads with a multimeter and all are good including earths. So I tried a coilpack and plug on each cylinder. No spark 1, 3, and 5. It's got to be between the igniter and this guy Actually, I'm starting to think that it may be an earth problem, but whoever did the GTS-R engine swap needs their arse kicked. When I took the kick panel off, the ECU just fell out. It wasn't bolted in, just floating around behind there. Hooks

That's a good question. Hooks

My car is running an RB20DET-R redtop ECCS. It is stock with all the -R bits (tubular manifold, TO4, specific ECU, etc) Driving down the freeway and it dropped a couple of cylinders, no mechanical noises, and got a ride home on a tilt tray. 1st tried swapping the crank angle sensor, no change. next swapped the igniter, no change. next started unplugging coil packs. The engine is running on cylinders 2,4,and 6. 1,3, and 5 are dead. Any ideas anyone? I've got plenty of coil packs, plugs, 3 igniters, 4 crank angle sensors, but it seemed a bit strange 1,3,5 out and 2,4,6, in. Every 2nd cylinder out Need help. Hooks
