my ecu has been modded with a higher rev limit.. and im glad it does have one, cos sometimes get a bit too eager on the burnouts and forget to watch the tacho.. anyway, lots of the chipped ECU's have stickers on the back, which means u need to undo the 3 x 10mm bolts holding the ecu brackets on to the car.. only takes 2 mins to check.

gdup - its just a solenoid- im pretty sure boost controlled via the pfc h/c. I can supply the b/c new.

chucky- why i couldnt go..

DVS33T - just because holdens are 5 stud doesnt mean they will fit.. you will find that skylines are 5 x 114.3 and holdens r 5 x 120 or something.. also offset wouldnt be correct.

depending where you are on station st and where you have to get to on Johnson St it could be a 5min walk or 35min walk...

if anyone can do it in 30mins, and do a proper job then i will give u half a slab.. has to be properly timed. It usually takes me a bit over an hour... thats getting the tools out, undoing everything, removing plugs.. having a look at the old ones and numbering and dating them, then gap the new ones and put them. Do everything up... and presto... Add another 5 or 10 mins if i put my tools away, but im too lazy after that to bother and normally do that a few days later

7heavn - please supply more info or the thread will be closed.. such stuff as PCD, offset and width etc. If they were designed for a new commondore they will most likely not fit a skyline too.

didnt they buy it at auction for a price that would make it worth about 60k on the road here... then stripped all the good parts, then offered it for sale at 80k?

speak to PRIMO on here (Phil from Direct Imported). He could possibly get you the conversion package by itself for a good price.

ps - best not to bring your car to this area.. in 2 weeks i had my drivers side hit by a bike rider, and pass side smashed in to steal some burnt cds.

funkey - the dvd version i have is half eng half jap. The program is in english, but the rest is in jap... seems as tho thats the data base bit.. and nothing can be done :s oh well, the diagrams are usefull, as well as part numbers.

funkeymonkey - u looking for full english? i dont think it exists as skylines were JDM only.

I think the only dissadvantage with the thermo fan is that it could stop working without you knowing... but im pretty sure you could hook up a meter/sensor that lets u know what the fan rpm is so you would notice if it stopped.

knore - its pretty easy to get into the tank... my trouble was a) the plastic cap was farken tight, had to use a hammer and screw driver to open it (easy .), next , the 3 fuel lines where really sticky from never being removed before, and its a small space so can be a bitch (cut my hand a bit).. other than that its easy. pred - thanks for the quick reply... i think i pulled it off the bracket when i first opened the pump.. got my self a bit confused. dave

USRB25S13 - A genuine nissan cam belt costs around $120 here. For around $200 you could get a trust or nismo cam belt from japan. With your car being a 95, its probably a series 1.5 .. where it has the series 1 body shape, but the series 2 engine (no ignitor) and series 2 rear spoiler.
