Yeah hanaldo it reaks at idle at a set of lights when the breeze blows it towards you so I'm hoping a cat will help won't stop it but it will make it a bit better

Yeah I know but it won't be as bad and it's legal mr plod can tap it and it won't sound hollowed out

Well put it this way I'm running a Decat now but sick of the smell and having to turn car off when pulled over so mr plod cannot smell it

yeah i went the 4.5 as george said becuuse he doesnt have any 5" in stock til next week anyway and i need it asap

Problem my car sits on the limit for height as is George reckons it will be overkill for a 5"

Thing I'm worried about is the body hitting the floor of car as I'm fitting it to a fairly newly made exhaust

Hey guys I have searched and noticed most people got the 5" body cat from venom I'm going to order a cat from venom but not sure what one to get I think the 5" body will be overkill as I'm still only running stock turbo but will soon be upgrading and looking at 300kw would the 4.5" body be a better bet for my application Oh my exhaust is a 3" from turbo back

ah ok why dont you just not use the T piece and get a sandwich plate for between oil filter and block and put a guage in there that way if you had any issues with the guage it would be a hell of alot easier to get to

If you already have a oil pressure gauge why would you need another in the oil lines

If I was to fit a silencer just after cat would that work instead of fitting it to the tip

Hopefully a baffle plate should work on mine if not I'll put a silencer in the tip as mine is a dumpy not a cannon

ill just use the baffle plate i used a quick db tester on my iphone about a 1 meter away and revved it to 4500rpm and it reached 102db but i dont know how accurate the db tester would be but it gives me a rough idea

as GTSsott said how much would you charge for the wastegate welding

yeah i thought of steel wool but what worries me is it might spit the tip as i wouldnt put it before muffler as if it moves it will get stuck in muffler cause i want to remove it after test

mines for a rb25 so im going to go the 10cm housing and external gate as the 8cm will choke and artz ive also noticed your using a 10mm spacer between the turbo and manifold did you need this or did you do it just to be sure as i thought i read on here you didnt need it

hey guys im in the middle of engineering my car. i have a 3" turbo back with a highflow cat and 1 muffler/resinator i need a noise test i dont think its to noisy however i want to make sure whats the best quick fix to quieten a exhaust

Very true artz but unfortunately when you have kids and a winging mrs it doesn't work like that
