    Police Fines

If your keen on challenging it in court google the legislation and have a good long read, i got ticketed for speeding (alleged 92 in an 80) and took it to court and after 6 months of stuffing around i got off. Do some research and youll quickly know whether its worth fighting or not. There are pretty strict rules on how everything has to be done and if you can create enough doubt to the judge that they wernt followed youll get off. For mine i ended up having 5 days off work to attend court (casual so not paid) which cost me more than the original fine wouldve anyway. Still worth it on principle though! Good Luck
  2. i decided to go with Dynolink and have the car booked in for next week, im getting the link G4. cheers shaun
  3. peak forward current is the max it can take b4 it blows and it wont take that much for long. for 20mA use a 600 Ohm resistor (or anything close to that it doesnt have to be exact)
  4. 220 Ohms will give you 55mA which should be fine but itd pay to check the current rating of the LED and you can put it anywhere in the wiring as long as its in series.
  5. For any LED youll need a resistor in series to limit the current, go to jaycar or somewhere similar and buy a 220 Ohm resistor that'll give you around 55mA across the LED and itll be all good cost the whole of 20c. Then soldier the resistor to one of the LED legs and wire in normally (make sure you put the LED in the right way as there polarity sensitive)
  6. Gday all Im getting my license back in just under a month and have decided its time to spend/waste a bit of money on my skyline (R33 GTST). Im after some recomendations for a stand alone ECU and tune and a shop in townsville to do the work. Im thinking about a Power FC but ive heard the D jetros are a pig to tune and id rather get something that the shops in townsville can easily do. If it'll be significantly cheaper i can install it all myself Ill also need a new harmonic balancer as mine is starting to seperate, im going to get a Ross. My car currently has RB30/25 forged bottom end Profec E01 boost controller Splitfire coils FMIC stock turbo setup, injectors and intake plenum 3inch cat back exhaust Im also going to need a new clutch and brakes (calipers and pads). The brakes ill do myself and im still debating whether to the clutch myself (sh*t job!) I have a budget of around $6K. Cheers shaun
