  1. tips for catching idle... 1. wait until it gets tired then bash with brick 2. drink beer and wait until it comes back on its own 3. trip idle with a stick 4. number 2 its easier and less tiresome 5. i believe a "profit" fits in my list somewhere or just drink beer and let future you sort that shit out
  2. ive also finished it but i went full evil first, best ps4 game ive played so far
  3. i dont really have any lag problems on my ps4 through wireless and im still on adsl1+ (all i can get in my suburb) i just set up my router properly and its all good (static ip and port forwarding)
  4. you think skyline cannons are noisy and drony? i just bought a forrester turbo (cheap) and its got a cannon on it, sounds like a wet fart through a megaphone in an amphitheater. its a horrible noise. needless to say as soon as the budget allows it'll be getting a far quieter system
  5. ive got 4 games so far, none make owning a ps4 worth it yet, they are as follows ghosts - to much like all the other cods, playable and looks ok but not really worth the money 6/10 killzone - campaign was a bit meh, a few sections where you just run back and forward looking for things with not much direction, seemed a lot like they rushed it and just put them bits in as filler. graphics are awesome! i only gave multiplayer one go and hated it, i played in december so there wasnt heaps of people playing but it was laggy and seemed like everyone just ran to a spot shot blindly at everything, died and repeated. i didnt like it at all. campaign 5/10 multiplayer 1.5/10 bf4- campaign was good if a bit short, this is the first bf game if played and i didnt mind it, looks good. played online in december, lag made it unplayable and i havent played it since, ill probably give it another go soon campaign 7/10 online ill rate later after giving it a fair go assassins creed bf - this is probably my favourite game so far, campaign is good but it gets a bit tedious and repetative near the end. looks awesome as they all do, overall a good game. campaign 8/10 i havent tried online if its all ship battles and such im not really interested also tried warframe, looked alright but i didnt really like it 5/10 conclusion - if you already own a ps4 id buy ac:bf to kill time until the better games come out later this year. or maybe ghosts/bf4 (whichever is your preference) to play online for a bit of fun. if your thinking of buying id wait until a package comes out with some better games like infamous as none of the current games ive played justify the purchase price. Tl:DR ps4 not worth it yet until better games come out
  6. The chiller I did was a baby my boss said, at that was only one side of it, it ran parallel compressor ccts. It was cooling water for a swampy that was lucky if it dropped 2deg off ambient air temp, mines have to much money lol. Bit off topic though. to op change your dryer/receiver and vac out properly and pressure test, then regass while checking your pressures and temps and there shouldn't be any dramas.
  7. I did a compressor change on an underground chiller that took over a hundred kilos of r12, most big chillers still use it cos its the shit. Also fridge gas got a new environmental tax or some such in the last year or so. That's why "$100 regassess" aren't advertised as much anymore, it costs way more in refridgerant.
  8. electra clean works really well, its a bit expensive but it takes barely any effort, pretty much just spray on wipe off.
  9. also check your afm, it might have decided its had enough at the same time as your pipe popped off coincidence like. my 33 had the same problem and after considerable stuffing around I found my afm connector pins were dry jointed.
  10. Id suggest ringing them and talking to them. A polite conversation and a bit of haggling normally sorts out most dramas with Telcos, couriers, shops, insurance companys etc for me. emails all good but most of the time they'll just send a generic reply like the one you got.
  11. I got a 13.1 @ 101mph with 205rwkw R33 gtst, cheap street tyres, full trim, no spare running at Townsville dragway a few years ago.
  12. got a set of these a few weeks ago http://chadstoolbox.com/3x8603knipex3pcplierwrenchset710and12.aspx I use them at work for steel wire armoured cable glands however I can see them be very handy for heaps of jobs. they work just as well as a spanner in regards to gripping bolts and leave no marks.
  13. I don't know f all about hks ecus however as long as you can find a tuner with the software and the ecu allows timing, fuel, input etc adjustments you shouldn't have a drama.
  14. I may have one at home ill get my missus to take a pic of it tomorrow and ill check if its the same. the bar is fairly wrecked but the indicators are good
  15. I would be in for this if I wasn't still in hospital. I would also like to thank everyone in advance who donates blood as I had a transfusion after my surgery two weeks ago (I lost a heap of blood during the op and my haemoglobin was down to 56) I was meant to get 4 bags but got a massive temp on the second one. so thanks again to all that donate your helping people like me who make stupid decisions recover and live : ) cheers, shaun
  16. as the topics states I've got an ECUTalk lead and software disk. No longer needed as ive gone aftermarket ECU. $ 50 ONO located in Townsville but I can post. PM me here. cheers shaun
  17. G'day, its been over two years and im sick of seeing my car all wrecked in the garage so its time to fix it, All the parts are for a white series 1 R33 GTST (not to fussed on colour) Im chasing the following: (if i've named it wrong its because im stupid) Radiator support LHS inner and outer guard LHS lower control arm LHS steering tierod Bonnet front bumper reo LHS headlight so if anyone has this gear sitting around hogging valuable shed space let me know and ill do you the favour of taking it off your hands, ill even swap said parts for cash, so you get more space and less clutter plus more beer money. win win win! Im in townsville but i could probably handle organising a courier, PM me here and ill be in contact. cheers shaun
  18. i drove albury to adelaide hills to townsville over the space of 2 weeks in my R33, wasnt to bad. the worst bit was the dirt rd 'shortcut' my GPS took me on, 15 odd kays doing less than 10 kmh because of massive ruts drove me nuts. the reason i didnt just turn around is because i kept thinking 'must be only a bit more dirt' lol. i just fly these days cos its cheaper and quicker but id probably do it again minus the dirt
  19. got back from a fishing trip to karumba last week, no Barra from karumbu but i got a couple from the leichhart river on the way back. I also caught a heap of eel tailed catfish and a toadfish. Seen a few crocs too

  21. Ive also got one sitting in my garage, its just the board though with the plug header so youll need your old case. the speed limiter has been removed. Works fine i upgraded to a stand alone. Pm me and we can sort something out
