  1. Probably because ive had a bad experience. Cop did the same thing to me, tailgating me i hit my breaks he rear ends me. Loss of license for 3 months and i had to pay damages. When i requested the video to take him to court he said it wasnt recording. Cop sad i was driving recklessly for slamming my breaks for no apparent reason even though HE REAR ENDED ME. Now as above has mentioned im targeted even after changing my number plates a few times doesnt help.
  2. what? hiding in bushes with radar guns getting people doing 5-10km over the limit, what about the post above where the cop tries to initiate someone to speed by tailgating. Im just praying to see on the news one day of a Truck crushing one of the ford territory mobile speed camera's with the operator inside.
  3. Changed by Moderator - any personal attacks in a PUBLIC forum will NOT be tolerated, regardless of the circumstances involved.
  4. Just to clarify: -It is a V6 engine not a V8. -Comes with an immobilizer -1st owner in Australia -Everything is Stock -Warranty ends in September 2013
  5. Hey there, Due to unforeseeable/family circumstances after owning my car for less than a month i have regretfully come to the point where i have to sell my car. This is a 2004 Nissan Skyline 350gt, 70th Anniversary addition Pearl White. When purchased from the dealer it had 26,200km and after my ownership it has 26,800km on the odometer. The car Includes: -Bose Sound System with In-Dash 6 cd Stacker. (Including expander on the radio as Japanses cars only reach 90mhz so you can now get FM stations such as 104.1,96.1) - also have tape-AV converter for the Ipod =D -Full factory cream leather interior -Digital A-C with dual zone climate control -Heated front seats -Reverse Camera -Trip Computer -New breaks replaced in September 2010 -A MTA inspection completed on the 8/9/2010 which is available. Car given a score of 8/10 -Because i bought this car from a dealer it also comes with 3 years warranty. Rego until September 2011 and 12 months road side assistance ending in September 2011. -The screen can be converted to be Navigation and TV compatible to Australian roads and channels but would need professional modification to have these aftermarket options put in. -Completely complied with Australian laws and is registered in NSW. -Courtesy lighting when doors are open -Side airbags The car is in excellent condition with only tiny surface scratches hardly visible in daylight. The only visible scratched paint is on the bonnet, there is a scratch the length of a finger nail and as thin as toothpic. There is some unfortunate guttering of the tires but as i have only had the car for less than a month the guttering took place with the previous owner. There is also a tiny chip within the windscreen, about a 1/6 the size of a 5c coin This car offers everything a $100,000 car could give. It has the power of a V8 at 208Kw and the luxury of an upmarket BMW. As i am selling this car privately but with all the options given by a dealer such as 12month rego/roadside assitance and 3 years warranty covered by the dealer the asking price is $33,500 ONO. The car is due for an service at 35,000km so you are purchasing a car as if you are buying it from a dealer with a recent service. I live inner city and am willing to only allow inspection to serious buyers. I am willing to meet halfway if you live to far from the city. Please contact me here or on my email at [email protected]. The car is listed else where and i will post here if it is sold. Payment must be via one of the options cash/bank deposit/bank Cheque or paypal.
  6. Fall short of just 3 years. Your court case and such should drag it out a couple of months. hopefully the time will help
  7. we can make speed camera's redundant if we all speed when we get to a camera. If every car on Australian roads sets off a speed camera they wont be able to police it. If everyone has 0 demerits and lost their license the cops wont be able to do shit.
  8. I know ill get flamed but basing your lifestyle decisions on the locality of a racetrack to your house just doesn't sound right. Unless its your job or your close to retirement and cars are your life other than that it sounds a big boganish, if thats a word...
  9. Hey, Title says it all. I dont know if im just missing it or its not a feature of the forum but what im looking for is a page with all the threads you have posted in. Does this exist, if not how do people keep track of where they have posted.
  10. Ahh only mention it because i have the exact same car. 70th anniversary, heated seats, pearl white colour, cream interior and the ugly reverse camera. Although mine is a 2004 maybe you got the year model mixed up or they released the same model both years><.
  11. Been pulled over 9-10 times on my Red p's all just random breath checks in a 1994 honda civic. Since moving to my greens i havnt been pulled over once except for the time i was speeding and had no P plates =(. Was doing 30+ but the cop was easy and gave me a speed fine of 20-30 and let me off the P plates. He even gave me some. Although it was pretty scummy how he was hiding in a driveway in an unmarked car. But o well got out of a $900 fine.
  12. god that reverse camera is so f**ked ><. What were they smocking when they decided to put that thing on. a little piece of me inside dies when i see a v35 with it.
  13. Ur not on ur p's now are u. the rule was in 2005 or u talking about when the V35 was listed?
  14. I know this is off topic but get the rear lights tinted. Red lights on red paint makes the ass look bigger and it is big ass already.
  15. If you are are u doing it legally?? if not how did you get your exemption. I am driving mine illegally (i know im not insured) but im waiting on the outcome of my exemption. On a P2 license now 6 months left NSW I only ask because ive seen 2 v35's with RED P plates.
  16. I want a new boot. =( mine has the ugly camera sticking out......
  17. Will be posting my letter with my exemption here just after i get a Justice of Peace to verify everything. Ill post the letter online after the results and what i wrote to get the exemption. Its over 1000 words so hopefully i have enough legit reasons to get the exemption.
  18. it sorta mehhh. But then again i cant drive tiptronic. I dont get the whole concept of how to down shift =(..... + once u hit 3rd gear your doing 90km+ or maybe im jst a bad driver. Probably the later when it comes to tiptronic.
  19. You know what he reason he used to get the exemption
  20. sorry im not trying to judge or be a smart ass here but lending someone that you have met over the internet car parts without offering some kind of finacial incentive has a fat chance of happening. Also some collateral should be put up in case you dont for some reason hold up your end of the bargain.
  21. Hey, Just writing here to ask for advice on filling out an exemption form for driving a prohibited vehicle. Before i call the RTA and get put on hold for 30 mins i wanted to see what people who may have had experience filling out and having either success or failure and what your grounds of exemption were. 1)Did you get the exemption. Why or why not 2)What do i need to do with the Justice of Peace or the Solicitor there is no section for them to fill out 3)In section H i am applying for exceptional circumstances but there is no box for that option 4)How long does the process take till i find out the result. How do they contact me over the phone or mail? Here is a link if you want to see the form - http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/publicationsstat...ds/45071143.pdf
  22. Confirmation with Just Car over the phone told me that if you are not legally driving the car you have no cover what so ever. Third Party and Comprehensive is void.....
  23. I rang the RTA today to see whats going. I spoke to customer service and they thought i was mad when i persisted on them checking their list for the 350gt. They kept replying that the only Nissan on our list is the 350z. I asked for them to transfer me to 'exempt department' and the man told me that it was indeed listed on the site but not in 'the' official list of prohibited v6 cars. I then told him of my situation and he said to apply for an exemption and say you bought the car in good faith but there are no guarantee's. The most latest list available is the 2007 copy and this is what i based my purchase on. I think its BS that the list has not been updated. To be honest the cops is not what worries me. I will avoid motor ways where high way patrol is most active as i am inner city living but its the insurance which is worrying me. Ill give Just Drive a call tomorrow and see what they say. I bought the car this month so grounds for purchase of the car before it was listed isnt much of an option.
