  1. Well I installed mine today. Had upgraded from a GFB bleeder. I also checked the knock levels on the PFC while testing the performance, it may have even been knocking slightly less with this controller. It still hooks up nicely, having full boost earlier dosen't produce any traction problems on my car. One issue I found with my car, is that the vacuum hose that I had (believe it's the hose that came with the GFB bleeder) didn't fit well over the nipples, but had some spare slightly larger vacuum hose (blue) and that fitted beautifully. ps. My car is SR20 180sx for those that don't know.
  2. Actually there is a few nice cars getting around woodridge (I should know as I live there). It's not actually a bad place to live, I have lived here almost a year and it's no worse and may even be a little better than the previous place I lived (Greenslopes). As with any suburb though, you are always going to get a few bad apples. Good to hear the car was found though.
  3. I'd be interested but it would seem that a lot of the places would have been filled already (I also drive a 180sx).
  4. My car too rattles at times. I am pretty sure it's the pulse of the exhaust is causing either the trim (next to the rear seat) or something behind the trim to vibrate.
  5. Can anyone tell me what the specs of the standard non-turbo brake calipers are? Thanks in advance.
  6. This is not normal because it used to start up first time and settle down for a smooth idle straight away. Now I have to try 5 or 6 times to get it going.

  8. Hi guys, Having a few problems with cold starts. I have a lot of problems starting it, and when I get it going, it runs rough for a few seconds before settling down to a smooth idle. While on the road it is fine. The ignition module has been replaced recently. I have changed the oil recently and changed the plugs. I have run some injector cleaner through the last tank of fuel. Nothing has fixed the problem. I took it into the mechanics during the week, and they could not find what was wrong, but reccomended a dynotune. Anybody got any ideas?
  9. About $1200 for my Silvia with rb20det. Unlimited mods, rating 1, 25 y/o. Just car insurance is the company.
  10. Is this happening everytime you put the car in first, or is it just intermittant? What about if you put it in another gear?
  11. Suppose you want to fit a bigger turbo (or higher flowing). It is obviously benefitial to run aftermarket management on it, be it a full replacement computer or something like a Power FC. Question is though, can you get away with running a stock computer? Would resetting the stock computer have any advantage? If you do run a stock computer with a bigger turbo, would you lose out on a lot of power?
