Im gonna give it a shot. As long as the price is right. i was told 300mm pvc is $65 a metre by bunnings (they dont keep any on hand) Ill ring around some plumbing places tomorrow and see. And then the dude at bunnings was going on about how shit it would be and to build a wood box instead. pffft. im gonna make one and ill compare it to my premade 10" box. Even just in the name of science. Ive got a couple of ideas for the look of it too so i hope it works out. so yeh some pics would be great. mbrookes@iinet.net.au if its easier and no one else is interested.

Kool ive got a few Questions Where the hell would i find 10" PVC pipe ? Are the pipe walls really thick and you can screw the sub into em? or are you sealing it with something? or both? did you try with/without baffling? How does it look ? i want to carpet mine and make it nice and mount properly. your happy with it?? compares well to a MDF box? Movie!! I be happy with a few pics though

Could you let me know if you find something?. I want to do the same thing in the back of my R32 and mount it in the boot under the parcel shelf. I was thinking of using mdf and building a false floor but i agree its too much weight. I dunno about using PVC pipe though unless it was pretty thick stuff, i figured it would sound a bit funny even with baffling.. ?

yeh ive got a 32 gtr and have both of those boxes (hicas and clarion) and another mystery one. I was told the clarion unit is a stock amplifier that pushes out some measly wattage

Im doing what i can to compliance it myself even as far as side instrusion bars. But its all Cash flow.. Yours will probably see the road before mine does. This weekend plans are to pull out the side mirrors this and get some replacements cut (flat ones). Do you want me to get some cut for ya as well? And anyone Else for that matter?

r32 GTR just arrived! Another one for perth and YES its another gunmetal grey one. I've been giving it a good look over since it arrived and looks in good condition all round, even got all the service history! (last service 2000kms ago). Wharfies knicked my gear knob but thats all Ill get some pics up soon if you guys are interested in seeing it? Something i noticed today is that its got 255 Tyres on the rims. They look massive even for a GTR, Can someone tell me if Its this stock size?

The paste in a tube, Autosol comes in a tub as well. I've never heard of a cotton wadding type. maybe post a pic of your rims

Ive just spent 4 hours polishing my rims and im not even 1/2 done yet! Im using AutoSol and its working well. Im getting the mirror finish but needs a lot of elbow greese. My rims have got those stud things around the outside.. real bitch to get in there.

Sadly, i didnt consider rust. i definently rushed too much after the changes to the 15 year rule were announced, i did not want to miss out on the car i've had my heart on for a long time. I started to realise this could be a big mistake a few weeks ago and should have got some undercar shots. So now its fingers crossed, not long till i find out.

Hey man, did you go through prestige to get your car? After you paid for it, have you gotten any updates on shipping or know whats going on with it? I've paid for mine now but i don't have any idea where the vehicle is or when its coming. Have you organised a customs agent or are you still waiting to hear more? Btw, i just got a message from someone who car compliance a R32GTR for $750 including the engineers certificate. Lemme know if this sounds good and ill pass the details on to you. Mike
