sucks to be u if u have to respray cause of stonechips, minor dent etc... cause the paint wont blend with the other panels and will look shithouse... so basically a full respray is needed even for a slight dent or scratch usually to get it all flush with other panels etc again. MEZMERIZE told me about these problems when he had his harlequin supra.

I wouldnt go to either of those workshops previously mentioned... they are mostly into your holdens and fords from what I've seen. 21st Century did my 100,000km service they were pretty good, and another friend has taken his skyline there aswell and had a good experience also. Otherwise, take it to somewhere up closer to civilisation. (I also am previous rockingham resident).

more power needs more maintenance. you also spend more upgrading other parts that break down because they aren't able to keep up with the strain they are now under with the additional power.

Okay... on saturday I pulled apart my brakes and put the stop squeal goo on my brake pads... Ive been on a cruise and also done a bit of driving over the weekend. Both hard and soft. I will say if you have problems with squealing brakes, go buy this stuff. Its red and can be grabbed from your local automotive shop (ie. Repco, Supercheap etc), think it was around 10 bux... there abouts. I have had little to no squealing.. Every so often i get a quite faint, soft squeal, but other than that... nothing. So I think it seems worth it.

True, I have no doubt that it probably would be!! Just the mere fact that my car runs on about 9psi... a wastegate would be wasteful I would think after reading up on them?

Speaking of which, haha... You should have seen this P plater that is driving a blue rx-7 (only JUST bought from Auto Wholesale). Came on a cruise last night, well to the initial meetpoint.. trying to talk himself up a bit an the car. LOL Yeah the car was nice... but he was saying he was a really good driver or it would be have been wrecked by now, to which i replied with... You only just picked that up ...didn't you? which he said "Yeah on tuesday actually" LOL was quite the funnies. Im not saying he WAS a bad driver, but he was acting like he was all that and that he was skilled etc cus he hadn't crashed the car, yet he only had it a few days, not even long enough to stick it into something LOL.
