  1. Hi John and welcome to the forum. It's very refreshing to find someone honest in regards to their car and its history. Over the years I've encountered plenty of people that swear on a stack of bibles that "their" car was different and made that way........... Blah Blah........ These Aussie delivered R32's are very thin on the ground so it's nice to know who owns what etc.... Cheers, Bob.
  2. Are you sure they have stock? I've contacted all the websites that list them but none have stock. My mate also needs one so if you could share your info in would be appreciated. Bob.
  3. Yeah..... It has a fair bit to do with lighting and paint depth. Here's one of the Kerry Packer owned cars............
  4. Thanks....... I bought it today. This may be a bit risky so if a moderator wants to delete it then I understand. Cheers, Bob.
  5. Not really, but I love the originality of that one in particular. I'm a fair bit older than most of you guys so clean original (or restored) 30 year old cars really do it for me. I've been there done that with modified cars so now days I'm happy to drive past a cop and not worry about any issues at all. Bob.
  6. Here are three other photos of Red Pearl Metallic (Code AH3G). The Australian version was not called Red Wine Metallic. 151 HHZ simply has too much purple in the mix. All the others are bordering on brown. If you look under the bonet of our cars it is more brown than burgandy. I'm loathed to accuse someone of their car has being painted if they don't know, nor would I state that from a photo............. But.............. If you look at the production dates of all the 100 cars you will see that they were all done within 3 months of each other and all from the same Murayama factory. There is no way the same code could vary so much, it just doesn't happen. Bob.
  7. Sorry for the clarification but you are saying the issue featuring the GT-R is out now or coming out soon? Thanks, Bob.

  9. +1 .... I'm about to give mine a tub...... Bob.
  10. Has a decision been made as to which day the Show "n" Shine will be held? Thanks..... Bob.
  11. Phenominal turn out. I've been around cars for over 30 years and I've never seen anything like it. Anyway here are a few pics to give you an idea. Cheers, Bob.

  18. What's your price range? Bob.
  19. What about an Evo VI? I test drove one today and was very impressed. Bob.
  20. I probably won't go on the cruise but at this stage I'd be happy to go to the meeting point for a bit of a look. I'm also happy to donate to the cause. Bob.
  21. The engine bay should be basically the same colour as the exterior. There is an Australian delivered R32 for sale at the moment and it looked like it had a silver or white engine back with a black exterior. When I looked at the paint code on the car it was silver! Soooooo.................... Regardless of what you see they should be matching. Allow for the fact that they don't have clear nor are they polished. That's why they look different. My exterior is Red Wine but the engine bay almost looks brown. Hope that helps....... Bob.
  22. Guys and Gals............I've still heard nothing. I paid for my membership over a month ago but have not received any formal notification, confirmation or validation. I understand that shirts may be out of stock but surely some confirmation especially on how to access the members section and advice on upcoming events would be in order. I don't want to sound like a whinger but I'm not new to the club scene but have never gone for a month without correspondence from any club. If it's all too hard feel free to refund my membership and I'll just continue on as I have previously. (Just PM me and I'll give you my banking details). I hope to hear from someone soon. Regards, Bob.
  23. Looks fabulous....... Good luck with the sale. Bob.
