    Australia generally has a bad case of tall poppy syndrome, and justified or not you had better get used to it. Take a look at the responses that kid got who wrote off the r33 GTR.. everyone on here was very excited about it.

    it depends how you spend your money. most young people with hot cars (from what i've observed, not in all cases) still live at home and pay off the car with hard work or the parents pay it (fooking stupid idea, easiest way to get a kid to write off a car) i could have gone the car, instead i moved out of home at 18 and today i've been in 2 different time zones (not kidding) you can pay off a car if you dont have any other bills.

    myself and a few others got a lift to brissie with the schools off duty rent a cop (who's a good bloke actually) to get to some excursion, i've never been in a car that's broken so many traffic laws. speeding, red lights (by accident if that's any better), talking on a mobile phone, failing to stop etc. we were all joking about it by the end.

    ummmm....i dont mean to sound like a tool or nothing.....but in your profile you describe your ride as "Ride(s): R31 90' S3 sh*tbox" it's probbaly a sweet car and a great price and only a sh*tbox compaired to a GTR, but if you're selling it you might wanna change that. just a thought.

    Patience is the key..........you can go out and buy one now, but the best thing is to wait for a real bargin. if you keep your eyes open, something will pop up when somone needs a really quick sale and if you can give cash you'll get a great buy.......might take a while though, but in the end. better car for less $
