i'm in a snowy climate right now...............over here city council trucks put this grit type stuff on the roads, a lot like sand. it might have salt in it i dont know. if its done by the city councils in japan, then i guess their methods would vary..........salt is also used by people for their driveways etc....... yeah its when the snow melts then refreezes, that's whats crap.

BRING IT ON um.......4doorGTR if the market is flooded then prices go down. that's good for the consumer, many people (like myself) WANT the price of skylines etc to go down. it makes them affordable for us and its just one less way to stop class divison. a nice car would become less of a status symbol if they were cheaper, it would be harder for people to think they're hot stuff cause they drive a skyline. if there were more imports it could ease the negative stigma they have because they wouldnt be some small obscure group. it would be harder for people/cop/media to generalise jap import drivers cause there would be much more of them.............. oversupply, its a good thing for the people (consumer). its bad for the companies or anyone wanting to sell their skyline (supplyer). oh and for those hoping their car would go up in price? are you planning the same for your computer? same kind of thing..............

wow guys! maybe, just maybe cops are individuals!!!!!

yeah, i think bathurst has made Holden arrogent..........bloody bogan culture. BRING BACK THE 32 TO BATHURST
-
i think if they made the XR6T a 2 door it would take off a lot more and be seen as the domestic skyline. i reckon 4 doors turns people away.

the truth allways is the best policy.......... maybe the cop was going on lunch in 5 and couldnt be screwed doing the paperwork

i think it's quite stupid that people are worried about their jap cars loosing value........ yes to an extent they will (logically) but anyone who buys a car under the age of 40 and expects it to gain value is a tool, to put it bluntly..............sure there's limited edition, modding etc. but i'm talking about stock standard stuff, like skylines. they loose value, dont buy them if you dont want to loose money. i've been looking into Soarers. they're crazy for how much they cost now. one import site quoted they're worth something like 16% of their original value after 10 years!!!! jap cars loose value and fast.............so if you just want to retain value, you'd be better with something european, or a honda, they seem to keep the value quite well for some odd reason..... bring in the imports...............more on the road means they'll be treated like less of an ethnic minority on the road. i think jap import drivers would get harassed less if there were more on them.................very easy to pick on the few. feck the local market............the money goes overseas anyway (asides from the jobs and stuff)
-
ford and holden have too strong a following for the jap imports to dint. 2nd hand cars are not in fasion. the real money is in the new market. jap cars are not a threat. i still stand with what i said before. i think it's hyprocritical that many people here aginst the 15 year rule got their cars with it. according to what vechiels are listed in their profile etc.............

Great way to show you care about the company you own, drive a rival's car! -
i agree zagan. most of the speed crashes are breaking the safty limits albiet at low speeds. more low speed camers??? rather than highways. move em away....

"yet you post on a nissan forum?? no volvo forums around that interest you?" you said it there. that was in responce to me saying that volvo is a better make than nissian so you ask why post on a nissian forum. so you reckon nissian is the best make? better performance than all the others? cause if you dont why are you posting on the nissan forums??? i'll say it again. i'm here cause i like nissians.

Need Help Buying A Skyline
The_Paladin replied to TiNTiN's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
that's really cheap..........get it really firmly checked out. if you have mates with skyline experience take them with you to see it. -
*continued* in which nissan (and volvo to a lesser extent) dont mean a thing up aginst the italian stuff. i think what i'm saying is dont say a make is slower than your's when it's not. it makes you look stoooopid. "~ Accidental falls kill as many people in Australia every year as fatal car accidents. Hmmm...I wonder how the government can start enforcing a system of fines for our own protection when it comes to ladder safety issues...." ummmmmmmmm...........they do mate. i studied theatre tech work, in order to rig something on a ladder (above the hight of your head) you need a riggers ticket license. failure to do so can cop a fine much larger than any speeding ticket thats been issued. however, no busts so it is largely ignorned (including my class and everywhere i've worked) but the laws are still there. i think attutudes are changing a bit, drink driving isnt as acceptable as what it was 10-20 years ago etc. i think unbias research from a 3rd party (royal commission? yeah probbly a bit too far. ) hired by the fedral government (who dosent recieve road tax??) to find out what the hell is going on with a view to implement the findings. as in if it said more people were dying of dui then more enforcement there...... just a thought.....

you think nissan is better than porshe? why dont you go to the porshe forums then inasnt. weird logic. i like nissan's i think they're good cars for the money. but we're not talking value, we're talking performance. in which nissan (and volvo to a lesser extent)
-
i thought that being auto might be one of the things that lowers its price, but on that theroy the auto skylines should be going a lot cheaper than they are. any other theroies?
-
oh yeah. heaps better cars out there than volvo. i'm not saying they're the best. just better than nissan. you're ripping a higher $ car than your own???? who's next on the list, Jags? that's the funny thing about volvo's they dont design them for speed but they still beat lots of models that are
