    Years ago my brother had the same thing. He called his greenslip co and asked them what they could do to help him because the other guy was being a prick but fully admitted to being at fault (ran a red) The insurance co charged my bro $400 and chased the other guy for him. This was 8-10 years ago though. Could be worth a try.
