  1. From what I know the guys thought they were out. Then they were told they could ask for a derived, so they did. Crazy stuff. And the rule will be changed for future events I'm sure.
  2. I estimated the gate figures to be somewhere between 5 to 6k on the saturday, allowing for 2 people in the parked cars I counted. What you guys reckon? And thatnks for clearing up several points Baron, my weekend was a hazy one, and I was doing my best to keep the thread updated via my phone.
  3. Yeah the BIG SHOW can do that but my pit chief Elmo the Giant would get a sour taste. He likes to "fettle and tinker"
  4. She'll be fine Timmy no panic. Just bring ya mouth guard. Just needs tyres, brakes, fliuds, stickers, and other assorted annoyances.
  5. Don't sell the 33 Russ, finish and enter it for me to drive in Targa next year as an "RGM I've got more grunt than you so suck my bawlls" limited edition? News coverage gauranteed, excellent for sponsors! Nothing better than a car flying through the trees backwards at a specatator point. On fire.
  6. I'm excited but also under the pump! Car is nowhere near ready, not a position I like to be in! We'll "gedderdurn" though Also, I see Marcus is back in the Skelta. Russ, you suck.
  7. Roy, whatever the asking price, it will be a bargain. The things has had MEGA spent on it, and only wants for detail finishing touches. It will make for a weapon, all the expensive stuff is done!
  8. Yep!!!! Suck! It really was an ordinary game though, typical wet game when they all just bunch up the ruck and heaps of drpped ball. Regardless, NSW sucks. ;-)
  9. Ah mate I didn't realise you were a fellow QUEENSLANDER!!!!!!! (Suck shit Blues! ) I watched you going around all weekend thinking "thats a very well driven S2k". Good work mate
  10. Precisely three. In over 5,000klm of competetive kilometres. At a few hundred bucks a pop. I think the sums work out
  11. You're from one of the southern states aren't you?
  12. All of the above screams of trying too hard. Just brake later, turn in harder.
  13. Yeah, the carpark. Seems R34 GTR's are the new Gemini! Roy, ...... maybe And too many what ifs in your question I think.
  14. Yep! Made a tubular frame that braced to the door skin and had tabs affixing the lexan to it. Preloaded against the window rubber. Worked better than I expected to be frank! And yes Roy, PPG GORN!
  15. Yes! But; We broke the block on Thursday which wrecked the bottom end and replaced it with a spare short we had in Brisbane on Friday. The replacement short engine was the same but didn't have the full counterweight crank.
  16. The Hi Octane 32 is fully wicked now with the Hollinger installed. Time got away on us with the rebuild after the prang, so Russell was forced to run without so much as a front undertray. The best sounding car out there in my opinion too
  17. RSZ's suck cock hey. Thanks for the update mate!
  18. How DARE you disagree with me!?!?! lol Understand what you're saying mate, and maybe I should clarify a bit. We have done aero testing to a degree, lipstick cameras, kevlar tape, that kind of thing. And yes, much reading of publications such as the one you mention and magnification of race car photographs has gone into what the 34 has. Therefore, what we have now is a pretty good effort considering the technology readily available to us, and the budget. We have one or two other things we've wanted to do but just ran out of time (think long rear diffuser and side skirt modifications) , and the undertray I think is a very good design. What is harder to do than the easy to see topside stuff is the underbody fine tuning. If you were here you would have seen how standard the Cyber Evo appeared topside, but from what Tarzan told us, all the fancy stuff is underneath, NOT easily done on a sedan type car. Heck, looking undrneath it gave me nothing, I couldn't see past the F1 ground effect style side skirt carbon sheeting that was blocking the view of the fancy stuff going on!
  19. First line of a Google search No Google in Tassie yet or ya sister using it? http://www.advanwheels.com.au/racing/car.aspx?id=27
  20. Yeah thats it I think? The white one that Steve was driving. I heard the figure of 50k thrown around, a buit rich to my mind, but still a good car
  21. lol! Good one Paul
  22. Meh, wind tunnels....... Just throw a set of 315's on it all 'round and bump it up another coupla hundred hp..... we are still on low mounts you realise
  23. Mal will be back. He loves signing boobs! He ran to the autographing table
  24. Harry, yes. From our conversation with Tarzan, he said the car can drive upside down, F1 style. Upside farking down! And yes, the Tilton car was there, but hobbled by massive understeer from what I saw. I wouldn't want to be a front tyre on that car. A shame as I too had heard some awesome numbers. The 2nd car was on display, and looks to be much more serious A shame too that the ex Supercars didn't make a better show of it. Looks like 38/39 is about the limit for a Supercar chassis on R comps. I had high hopes that they've give a bit of a hurry up to the front runners!
  25. ***awaits Harry to make a spelling mistake*** I meant kg of downforce you flogger. The L is beside the K. KOK
