  1. Mark's merely taking a break because he's been working/living interstate expanding their business (yet again!) while his wife and young family are in Qld and seldom get to see him. Any spare time he gets is spent NOT working on cars.... Time for a bit of family time. Hardly taking a break due to "expences" or "lack of pace". What a fkn crock of shit mate (edit: That is how bullshyte rumours start).
  2. Well I've heard just the opposite, so there ya go! haha
  3. Me old Jeep had a really easily removed front lip spoiler (no tools required). 3rd gear, low range (to fully disengage stab control), and rev limiter.
  4. Fantastic stuff, looking awesome!
  5. You not driven a Great Wall? I'm not buying a D22, but they're much better than a China ute, and now they're priced like one.
  6. Yeah VERY quiet isn't it. I'm sure it will ramp up a bit. But even Facebook is quiet...... Yeah I think so But hope not.
  7. My local dealer has 2 in stock. Next dealer along has 3 apparently......
  8. FYI, Navara D22's are on sale. Top spec STR dual cabs are rolling out at under $28k drive away with 12 months rego. Bloody good buying I reckon. The D22 is a much better thing since getting the 2.5L donk. Still some way short of a D40 to drive, but at virtually HALF the price......... 2800kg towing capacity. http://www.nissan.com.au/Cars-Vehicles/Navara-D22/Offers
  9. Seriously though, are you planning to race it, exercise it, or simply build then admire it? All are good options.
  10. Are you planning on running this as Production Car so you can fully kick some arse?
  11. Good thing! My neighbor at work owns and races/leases some, I'd like one. And you've got one! Keen to follow your progress.
  12. x 11ty! Said and knew it was a bad decision to move the MS builds with street car builds. I for one VERY VERY seldom visit the build threads because as said already, MS builds seem to get lost amongst others..... Do the forum a favor and make some changes I reckon. No need for more sub sections though IMO, just lump them in the MS forum and they'll survive on their own merit.
  13. Your vehicular knowledge knows no bounds.
  14. Meh, just use it. For everything else, there's limp mode.
  15. hhhhhhhhhhWhat?!?!? No need. Just stop topping it up after the Resevoir has a spit and gurgle. It'll find it's own level. None of this is ground breaking info here.....
  16. Only do a harness if your adding a quality seat. Harness and seat combo make a HELLUVA difference to your ability to feel the car and wring the most from it.
  17. 32 GTS-t at that level, you don't need an oil cooler unless your sprints are 25 laps plus (even if the ambient is well into the 30's). Just over-fill it by one litre and she's good to go. Mine is living proof, using Castrol Edge 10W-60.
  18. *sold*
  19. Fixed it. Thanks Newcombe!
  20. Very sorry to see your woes Dan, but stoked with how well you took to it! Good times ahead! That a bloody fuel pump failed is damn hard luck MoBro! On fuel supply; Anyone running a rally car that doesn't feature a decently sized and tall swirl pot is asking for trouble I think. Given the long stages run, and the fact we're often VERY low on fuel, no factory tank can hope to retain fuel pressure through corners at very low tank levels. Being forced to keep a tank topped off where possible to avoid starvation is a bit counter productive . I'm keen to sample a Mountain MS event, might even do so once this bloody boat that's draining the wallet is completed. Edited: thanks Danny! X!
  21. O Nando....
  22. Dan, have a great weekend mate! Enjoy the shit out if it!!!!!
  23. Paul, GREAT to finally meet you both! Sad that you had a fault or two with the car, but GREAT that it's straight! I'd much rather fix an engine than a body.
