  4. M-Spec: The M-Spec model has been available since May 2001. It has leather trim, 'ripple-control' shocks and improved steering wheel. This is the luxury version and can be obtained in a special colour called 'Champagne Gold'. The other colours available are Black Pearl, Sparkling Silver and White Pearl. Due to the fact that the interior is hand sewn, Nissan only make 50 cars a month.
  5. V-Spec II: This model was introduced on 28th August 2000 and replaced the V-spec. The key difference is the carbon fibre bonnet instead of the aluminium one, with the addition of an NACA duct to aid engine cooling. Other differences include a black cloth interior and larger brake discs. This model is available in Bayside blue, white, white pearl, silver and black.
  6. V-Spec: This is the flagship of the GTR range. In addition to the standard GTR it has an improved engine performance due to a modified active LSD controlled in conjunction by a viscous coupling (Hence 'V-Spec'). It also has a stiffer suspension and an aerodynamic body kit to give better stability at high speeds. This model also boasts front and rear Venturi style diffusers (the rear one constructed from carbon fibre).
  7. Nissan Skyline GTR The Skyline GTR is the 4 wheel drive, twin turbo super car that every one dreams of. The R34 car was launched on the 8th January 1999 and is basically a more compact, facelift model of the R33 which ran from 1993-1998. Other changes include the addition of 18" aluminium wheels as standard along with a 6 speed gear box and a multi function display unit (this has an LCD display giving 7 real time engine parameters). These cars are all around 300 bhp and go from 0-60 in 4.9 seconds.
  8. time for some SKYLINE TRIVIA Nissan Skyline GTS This car is the rear wheel drive version of the Skyline range. It is available with a 2.0 or 2.5 litre engine and with no turbo, or a single turbo - the GTS-T. The GTS-T has approximately 245 bhp as standard, but many can be found with minor modifications taking them to 300 bhp very easily. The GTS non turbo 2.5 has about 210 bhp and the 2.0 about 180 bhp. All come with A/C, power steering, electric windows as standard. Many others come with electric folding mirrors, electric retracting aerial, central locking and stereo systems. They are available in most colours - the most common are red wine, white, silver, dark grey and black. The 2.5 Turbo version is exceptionally comforatable, with bucket style seats front and back. The drive is very smooth and suitable for long distance as well as short trips. The power of the turbo is very progressive and the car accelerated very fast and smoothly. Although the boot is smaller than you might expect for a car of this size, leg room in the front and rear of the car is extensive and adults can sit happily in the back.
