Excellent, I need to rebuild the RB30 in my old VL after a failed turbo conversion; pistons were very very sad Need to buy a few more things for skyline first but I'll let you know later if you've still got it.

Tim (White R33 with no front) is putting a new diff in his car so he'll have his old LSD spare, it needs some love but I'm sure you're more than capable of loving it.

Can you tell me a little more about the pistons?

Prehaps, is there anyway to inspect my current one to see if it's shagged? Also, is it possible for the steering rack to like jump a tooth? Because when I was drifting around basky last I was heading towards turn 1 and then the steering like bumped and then all of a sudden having the wheel straight turned me right and to go straight ahead was like 11 o'clock. Took it back to the pits and took the steering wheel off and restraightened it then it was fine for the rest of the day, except for being really really heavy. Everyone I asked at the drifts just looked at me like I had two heads which was mildly annoying; albeit understandable, because most I've the time I've got no idea.

two of my mates are using gizzmo's. Seem to go well, only thing they didn't like is that they have only two buttons to control everything.

I'm running 6.5 degrees of castor, would that affect it? I havn't noticed that noise Yep, I just let it overflow and didn't top it up Mine was hard all morning then fine in the afternoon. (in b4 innuendo) Oh, also, I neglected to mention, my speedo doesn't work sense I put my new gearbox in. Does that like f**k up the speed sensitive steering or something?

Are you doing it right? I remember trying to do it on my old motorbike and constantly f**king it up but not knowing any better.

Steering or Brakes?

Checked yes, Bled no, that's this weekends job. If I pump mine up it'll stay pumped. Yours sounds like leaky lines. Had that problem in old Suby wagon.

I've got some interesting problems with my R33. Problem #1 When I brake the pedal goes straight to the floor, then upon having a 2nd stab at the brakes it'll be fine, good feel and pulls up fine. Giving the brake a left foot chicken tap before braking doesn't seem to help. Problem #2 with the brakes, when I'm doing a burn out and having the left foot on the brake the pedal get really hard and pushes my foot off the brake and eventually the brakes stop working and the car will just go forward. (obviously doesn't want to do skids lol) Problem #3 Steering is really really heavy sometimes, all morning at drift practice it was f**king and the car didn't self steer at all, not when sliding, not when transitioning, not when crusing around the corners in the no drift part of the track, you turn, the wheel will stay at that angle until you change it, and it's so heavy only the hulk can steer it. This problem randomly went away in the afternoon of the drift festival but came back when unloading the car off the trailer. Car is a NA conversion so it doesn't have HICAS. Suggestions? I'm thinking the braking problems could be because the NA Brake booster doesn't like being turboed?
