  1. I like bronze wheels on R33s. These are the ones mine came with
  2. I've got one. 6pack of Fat Yak and it's yours.
  3. Mate, these are $660 new from Telstra.
  4. Hmmmm, If I get my new ute this weekend dad will want to see it so I'll go up and get the motor for you.
  5. hmmmm, sounds rough. I hope you can get all your problems sorted. You've got 2 weeks
  6. pretty healthy, It's a whole engine, it's just the head is f**ked. Bottom end should be pretty good. I'd get new Pistons too though because I think the ones in it are after market & higher compression because it was NA. $50 and its yours. It's in Devonport.
  7. An "engine rebuilder" having trouble fitting a oil filter sandwich plate... hmmm.... I wouldn't use one personally, esp not an ebay one, heard too many horror stories about them failing and people dying.
  8. I've got a healthy 30 bottom end
  9. No front calipers sorry, mate of mine already called dibs on them.
  10. Everything this man said, plus 3076R + external wastegate & 2" screamer = epic symphony of orgasmic turbo spool and ear raping gate. Best ever.
  11. Judging by the amount of interest we got I think we might have to make this a monthly thing! @TJ, What's there to do on your car to get it going the way you'd like?
  12. That's a pretty amazing idea Sam.

  14. I (and I'm sure many others) would be very interested in meeting you and checking out your car. I hope that you can make it down. Also, incase it wasn't clear, I'm talking about going to baskerville on the 24th.
  15. Do both you skirts! Lol. If you're not a HSCC member, you can join up just send an e-mail too [email protected] And they'll hook you up. It's stuff all to join for a year, $80 I think. so it'll pay it's self off in like 3 track days
  16. Yeah I was originally going to get the 3076r with the 6 bolt rear on the stock manifold but I'm glad I went the whole hog in the end with the high mount exhaust manifold and forward facing plenum. It's about a trillion times sexier and didn't cost that much more.
  17. That'd be awesome if you could! Lock it in Eddie
  18. There was some interest in a Track day on the other thread. The track looks pretty free on the Sunday 24th of April and there isn't any other motor sporting events on that weekend. (easter Weekend) who's keen? I think there is a 4 car minimum. Not sure how much It'd cost... Funz, can you enlighten us please?
  19. Nonsense! My first time taking the skyline out on the track (also first time driving the skyline ever) was the Tas Drift Festival and that ended well. Funz keeps organizing sneaky trackdays and not telling any of us about it! Super Sprints are very entry level anyway, it's pretty much a practice day.
  20. awww I missed out Should have let me know, I would have been out there in a flash!

    Lf Diff

I think there was some quite well done documenation on this forum on how to re-shim a diff. It didn't look that difficult. I've got a open diff center from my R33 if you want
  22. Do it mate! I'll be there for my first ever sprint too on the 17th, I'll be in my Skyline. Sounds like you've got all the boxes ticked to pass scrutineering, just make sure your battery is secured and you've got your coolant overflow dumping into a bottle, not the ground. Even if you've missed something there will be lots of friendly people there to help you out to make sure you get out on the track The whole "secondary method of securing the bonnet" is a little meh sometimes. Pack an old belt if you havn't got something else already . I'm pretty sure though that you don't need anything unless you've got an aftermarket bonnet, I know I've never needed anything. At the end of the day you're not racing against anyone else, just against the clock, and that's still heaps of fun But when you're out there you'll be matched with others of similar driving calibre. You'll need a blue triangle, not rectangle, lol, the sides need to be 150mm long, just use blue electrical tape or contact like you'd use to cover your old school books If you're really anxious about it you can come round to mine on Friday\saturday night and we'll give it the once over and spin a few yarns with you. My housemate is also a Sprint virgin like you and will be taking his skyline for the first time too.
  23. f**k yeah! All ready for Sprints on the 17th?
  24. Sold cat and Dump pipe, Still got the rest.
  25. just keep doing what you're doing, it's fine. The only bad thing about not having a full tank is the slight risk of fuel surge when you're going hard around corners and stuff. But skylines don't get it that bad anyway, not like WRXs which'll surge if you're under 1\3 and think about going around a corner.
