  1. I would be willing to provide a limited warranty to the right person. Eg 6 months and up to 240rwkw or something like that. I am the SAU NSW Club President so not likely to try to spiv anyone. I think this will be plenty strong. I would only stipulate that you use high tensile bolts and nuts.
  2. Ok we are back up for sale. I have repaired the flange of the half shaft that got bent.
  3. Livin' the dream dude!
  4. Read the first page of this thread. All the good info is there.
  5. After talking with one of our Show 'n' Shine sponsors Pro Coat, I have organised a group buy on their two most popular services. The group buy starts when we have 10 items booked in here on this thread and will end two months after that. Don't post up if you're not serious. Turbo exhaust housings normally cost $110 to get coated but for the duration of the group buy paid up members of the various state clubs will pay $80 and ordinary forum members will pay $85. Basically you remove the housing from the turbo (not difficult and wont unbalance your turbo or anything like that) and send it to Pro Coat who are based on the Central Coast. Exhaust manifolds normally cost $275 to $363 but for the group buy, paid up members will pay $242 and non members will pay $250. I will have 100% confirmation of these prices and pictures as well as much more info tomorrow. Those of you who race will understand what's being offered here and so wont need the fluff. You can post your interest now. Everyone else, more info coming.
  6. The raffle for the tyres is only for people who enter their cars. There will be another raffle with lots of other stuff on the day.
  7. It's a very easy driveway. No problems at all.
  8. Achtung! Toyo Tyres are very kindly donating a full set of Toyo Proxes 4 tyres to one lucky entrant. Currently financial Skylines Australia Club Members will get two tickets in the raffle to win the tyres while non members will get one ticket each. So as far as raffles go, the odds will be very low and you have a real chance of winning a new set of tyres. This is a pretty big prize so rather than giving it to the "Best" car, we are keeping the fun of the day intact by giving them pretty much randomly to an entrant. You gotta enter the show to win 'em!
  9. Unless it's an emergency no. The council give very strict rules about the place cos we are driving on the grass. We got turned away from about 6 other places because they didn't want us parking on the grass.
  10. With regard to gaps, you go for the largest gap you can use without getting misfiring. Stock gap is 1.1mm but generally when you start upping the boost you need to drop the gap to about 0.8mm. If you have to go lower than that it's because your coilpacks aren't up to the job but in regards to your car Paul, if it's running fine now, great. Don't change anything. Equally don't be surprised if that misfiring comes back at some stage. It will be the coilpacks if it does. I don't think the AFR's are too bad considering it's just an SAFC. You'll never get a flat line with that. The dip in the curve is fairly typical of a stock ecu/fuel computer piggyback. Guilt-Toy - Not denying that's a good tune but it's a happy dyno too.
  11. Yeah I would have recognised your plates if it was you. Also, I'm sure these two spotted me, but maybe they aren't on here.
  12. I think it looks great. Better than all yellow fo sho.
  13. It would take a genious with lots of time on their hands.
  14. He forgot to mention SAFC.
  15. I spotted a bayside blue R34 GTR a coupld of times in the city last week. Also got flashed by a black R32 on Heathcote road yesterday. I think I flashed back but not sure if I pulled the lever hard enough. Also saw the same white r33 3 times yesterday in various places. White guy driving, asian girl passenger. The first two times were unsurprising but to see them coming towards me again 3 or 4 hours later was a bit of a shock.
  16. And the first person to tell me they're not real gets a slapping!
  17. As long as you bring those lips too...
  18. The road was like rushing past so fast I didn't have time to lok at the speedo yo.
  19. Speaking literally, anything to do with the engine that varies. In this case the power delivery with different turbos or injectors...
  20. Check the main thread for details - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=168817 Turbos not needed for showing. Also we will probably have an unofficial N/A prize.
  21. From what I can work out if I replace the hard lines and clutch dampener with a braided line I should sharpen the clutch feel. Apparently the dampener slows the release of the clutch so you might have the pedal fully out but the clutch might still be partially disengaged. Will it get heavier if I do this though? I've also been thinking of getting a slightly larger slave cylinder to lighten the pedal a little. I know Nismo do one. Does anyone know what size the bore of the standard slave is? Do you think we might be able to find one from a more common car that might do? I mean they all pretty much do the same thing. Maybe it's all in the mouting holes.
