  1. Bump* i have been having the same problem with my tinting so i thought i may as well track down the problem. first there is 2 felt soft thingos on the inside of the door that hold the window from bouncing around when it is halfway up/down. these over time start to clump together and fill full of dirt ect. after getting new tinting i started to notice this. there is 2 ways to fix this from scratching your tints. a) losern the bolt holding the felt thing in place a little and slide it away from the window a few mm not far at all. then re tighten. this should stop the scratchs because it is not pressing against the window as hard as before. B) replace the felt tips - pain in the ass - cant remove the metal clip with the felt tips attached without pulling apart whole door. i would take picture to explain better but dunno where our camera is atm hope this helps someone
  2. *sigh* i still inforce my comment made when this thread started.

  15. you'll find it very differnt driving the skyline to the vx. both are decent to drive however the skyline is a smaller car, handels better, faster, and depends on the person looks better. however it doesn't have cruise control and the fancy trip computers ect. i have driven my mates vt commodore a fair bit. and its a nice car to drive, just to big for me and i feel more comfortable driving my r33. also i find the commodore has more blind spots and not as easy to feel wats going on. but end of the day its up to each person
  16. 20 and l's congrats how come u waited so long? anyway good job, and bad luck on having to do 50 hours with the log books

  18. my amp is mounted right next to the battery and the fuses ect and i found when i move the amp away from there it becomes less of a problem. i also tried buying some of those streetwires rca's about $40 for 1 and that just made the problem worse, go figure. i even ran the rca's on the outside of the car to see if that would work no go. u can buy some kinda of thingo that u attach to you alternator and its ment to stop the whine
  19. u might be right, but i know i have one wire coming from the antenna wire that isn't connected to anything
  20. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=35694 just get them.
  21. i figured out why i have dodgy reception. when i installed my h/u i cbf going out n buying an antenna coversion plug, so i just soilded the wires together ect and i had an ect wire coming from somewhere so i left that unconnected. i think its the windscreen antenna thats not plugged in? but thats why its dodgy on mine. i play cd's all the time anyway
  22. is your amp mounted near your battery in the boot? if so that me be the problem. also try turning the gains down on the front speakers. the whine will still be there but u wont be able to hear it as much
