  1. Can't believe it's going to rain, I got 70kw out of the car for tonight, this morning. John, I think you should read this thread too, 70kw for $70 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=55542 The mechanic said the timing was set all the way back.. he advanced it abit and says its ok since there is no pinging and it's still running very rich.
  2. The surprising thing is..... it felt fast! But damn does it feel fast now... I can't even begin to imagine something with 250 - 300rwkw.

  4. Dyno'd my car today. 12psi boost my car would not go over 100kw - 98.3, 99.4, 97.3 etc Something was seriously wrong and I was craping in my pants. Clutch slippage was first check, it wasn't that because the dyno has a 'traction something or other monitor' We tried one other thing - the Crank Angle Sensor (or I'm pretty sure it's that). It was adjusted anti-clockwise slightly and we crossed our fingers. First run we hit 169.1kw at the wheels! Which relieved me, greatly, and the mechanic. It dropped to 169.8 then a bit lower because of heat possibly, but by going to the dyno today I gained around 70rwkw. Here is there dyno graph: The mechanic assures me its safe, it is not pinging and according to the dyno the mixture is 'extraordinarily' rich. PowerFC here I come! Mods are: - Pod Filter - Turbo back 3" Exhaust and 7.5L Cat - Hybrid 800x300 FMIC - GFB Bleed Valve set to 12psi
  5. John, a local workshop by the name of RUF Performance has offered to do the dyno run and boost tune for the same price you offered me, so I'll go with them (much closer), hopefully I'll see you tomorrow night! I'm still so excited and at the same time very nervous

  7. I got fined last week for 118 in a 100. I was going to contest it because the Copper was on oncoming traffic and tailgating the truck so close I would say there was not a one car gap in it. I have two witnesses. I thought I'd just pay up. Now I might write a letter to Infringement Processing Bureau and see how it goes. Any advice? EDIT I heard there is to be a clear line between you and the camera. I couldn't even see the Patrol car until the truck was beside me.

  9. Hey guys I'm pretty excited and can't wait for this.... Just wandering, will my R33 crack a 14? Pod filter, Front mount cooler, and turbo back exhaust with 7.5L cat. I heard close to stock R33s dont really get good times :S
  10. I'm same as 2BNVS, but my car was off the road for like 3 months before having the 3" Front Pipe and 7.5L Hi Flow cat put on, JP at Unique told me 10kw as well, on an RB25DET. This power may also have been accompanied with the slight increase in boost.
  11. JP - I have not upped the boost whatsoever I want to do it properly and get PowerFC at the same time or even a turbo first! But yeah guy's I will be there! Add one whale to the list..

  14. I've got one from Unique Autosports, 5 Finger Bronze face. It's my first car so I don't have anything to compare it too.
  15. My mate has one of these units, it came off a WRX running around 20 - 22psi boost. He has gotten rid of it and basically I can get a hold of it at an extraordinary price. What I was wandering if these are fully re-progamable to suit any vehicle. I basically know nothing about computers so any help would be great. Yes I know it's WRX, still wandering if re-programmable for my 33.

  18. Ed, this meet up will only occur if we have the numbers, otherwise it'll just be straight to Campbelltown. So far it looks like the meet up won't be happening.

Well I'm proposing we do this: For the cruise to Nowra us Liners meet somewhere prior to getting to the main meet point so that we rock up together, make an entrance you see Date - 10th October Meet point - Carnes Hill Woolworths car park, off Cowpasture Road just past Hoxton Park. Very big car park and nice and discreet, also Cowpasture Road is quite big. Time - 9:00am for a 9:20am leave sharp! So can I have a show of hands so I know whether to bother with this plan or not?

Ok people I have a proposal: We all meet at Woolworths in Carnes Hill - off Cowpasture Road, I've been living around the Campbelltown area for the past 10 years or so, from here it'll be an easy drive (10 minutes) mostly rural, to the Top One Carpark destination in Campbelltown. This way all us liner's can meet the main group at Campbelltown Top One, and I can get you guys there easier because I know the area like the back of my hand, so to speak. If we can rock up all at once, we may get a pic in a magazine because of the vast amount of Skylines - consistency!
  22. The Nowra police have been informed and surrounding areas, as well as the council, who have provided a place to 'park' all the cars, it's a well organised cruise. The police will be watching very carefully so this cruise will be taken at a leisurely pace. If people want, I can organise a meeting point for us liners that's on the way to Campbelltown so all the Skylines can rock up at once Dont forget people, there will be Hot4's, Fast4's, Autosalon etc photographers there on the day!   23. You'll never believe what the problem was from a company like RUF Performance.... The polarity of the power wires was wrong, they had red going to ground and black going to power! I switched them myself (A very long and technical task for me) and now it works! The only problem is, it seems to read the highest level of richness? All the time too. I heard it may be due to Nissan running their cars rich from the factory? I have a standard ECU... and RUF seemed to have tapped into the 'Oxygen Sensor' wire correctly as located here: http://www.datnet.org/new/files/rb25detrec...3pinout.Sat.pdf

  25. Hi All I went to Ruf Performance to get my Autometer Air/Fuel Meter put in, but they can't get it to work?! Like nothing comes up?! It's an RB25DET with standard ECU, if anyone can help me out please do so They reckon there is power through all the wires and there is a signal, but they didn't seem overly confident about it. I remember seeing a thread just like mine, but did the search and can't find it, if someone can lead me to that thread that would also be great. Thanks in Advance.
