  2. there is no way some one could cut my soft top and climb in without setting the alarm off (this is IF i had a soft top)
  3. its most likely comin from your PCV (positive crankcase ventilation)valve, it probably just built up over the 10's of thousands of Km's of driving. but If you cleaned it and then it came back straight away thick like that then i would be alittle concerned
  4. when the car comes from factory convertable, the manufactuer strenghtens the chassis to suit. (eg 350Z) alot of the times the car ends up heavier and more expensive than the hard top you could make a convertable skyline no probs, just have to strengthen it. which would be messy IMO
  5. why not a convertable???.........because the rigity of the cars is lost.

  8. i get about 450Km's with 4inch cat back and pod filter, if i was driving on freeways the whole time i could easily make 500Km's

  10. you dont know how you are going to drive intill you get out on the road by yourself, its easy to say you wont but its different when youve got a skyline and your all the road to yourself

  12. RB25 boxes are strong, sounds like you stripped some teeth too bad you busted it there not cheap either $1300+ first i would take it to someone and see about gettin it rebuilt
  13. are you sure you didnt overheat it and blow a head gasket? eg lost coolant (from welsh plug or hose etc) and cooked the motor i done this once in with my 350 chev wasnt paying attention to my temp gauge, before i knew it i done a head gasket

  17. i pressed it about 5-10 times and held it for a while, i will have to try it again sometime
  18. i had a chick dance for me infront of my car at traffic lights last week, she walked across the lights and ignored all the other cars and as soon as she saw a skyline (mine) she started dancing and smiling (i think she was fairly drunk though)
  19. i just reset my ECU for the first time and drove it for about 20Kms with air on and off and i havent noticed any improvements, seems the same to me

  21. yep atmo r33 and 180's are the same, but turbo R33 are five stud as is s14 onwards i believe
  22. yeah thats right, this is what they do in F1 cars *edit* oops someone else already said that, i was a tad slow
  23. what of the garrett turbo's are straight bolt on for the rb25, that with the rest of the hardware (ecu, FMIC etc) would produce 220-250rwkw???? would this be GT30??? this would be the turbo im interested in
  24. have you checked your oil level lately? or pressure, the ticking is the time it takes the oil to come into the head
  25. or make it a sleeper
