I'm after some replacement coilovers for my R32 GTS-T (32s came with coilovers stock) I don't really want to spend a great deal of money and would like something similar to what was factory fitted to them. Any ideas anyone?

No I'd say the earlier spool would be concerned with not having a boost controller/proper tune done. The R33 turbo does spool a bit quicker but then again you may have a high flowed turbo like me which spools much quicker than your standard turbo. Best thing is to hook your ebc up and have a play. If your boost controller doesn't make a difference to the boost, there will be a problem with your actuator. Also, once you have an EBC it will give you a digital reading of boost as opposed to a needle on a cheepo calibre guage that could very well be out by a couple of psi.

A by-product of fuel combustion is water dude. Unless its spitting coloured droplets, your being paranoid. Everyone's car does it - just some more noticeable than others due to exhaust temps. Rest easy James

+1 May have an R33 actuator on there? That's got a max of 8psi... Get a manual boost controller or a cheap EBC and dial her up son. Nothing will increase your boost except a boost controller or actuator. I'd say you have a different actuator because if the diaphram inside shat itself you would be able to flow as much boost as the turbo can flow. So in your case it would be about 13-14 psi with stock turbo... An exhaust system will give you the ability to run more boost more efficiently but it wont automatically increase your boost LOL Boost will not be increased unless the wastegate is being told to do so and this happens via the actuator.

I bought my 32 in Sydney and drove her back Waiting until the NSW rego is out in July so I can get maximum free rego time ...I'm well aware of the inspection process for interstate cars as I've already done it with my past cars (soarer and e36 325i) lol But yeah very interested to know that I shouldn't have tint on my car before inspection day. *booking cancelled* Seriously man thanks for that info, I would have been screwing myself over unknowingly! How sure are you coz the AFM is attempting to balance the air with the lack of fuel and consequently tripping the gosh darn out and the increase in voltage duty could be attributed to it working harder to attempt to conrol air intake? I reckon your fuel pump relay has shat itself. Clean your IAC valve and AFM to eliminate variables with the air intake system. Check your plugs, coils and ignitor as well as all your intake and intercooler piping, check your O2 sensor and the other shit I listed in my last post...

I have to pass pits in July though so I don't know whether I should go the 30 or the 20. Did you get the Soarer assessed with your grade 20 already on?

Its the grade of tint, relating to its ability to block light, i.e the darkness of the tint. The lower the number, the darker the tint. I think you can get like a 22 or an 18 as well hey. Apparently 20 Grade will go more or less unnoticed. Anything under 20 will look illegal haha.

Yeah right hahaha. I called Trent yesterday and he quoted me 310 for 20 Grade, 300 for 30 grade and 290 for 35 grade (darkest legal). 5.5 hrs - he must have been pissed lol. I'm gettin mine done in a week or so. I had my SNOARER done by Tint A Car back a couple of yrs ago. $300 for midnight express (sale month) and the job was perfect. Sept now they want like $400 for Octane on half a soarer size car - faggots. TKO IS PURELY IN HOUSE NOW. NO MOBILE WORK.
