I believe a ADR classification says that the alarm has to have a certain amount of function/protection. As stated by the insurance company. It has to have multiple points of immobilisation Black wiring Central locking Motion/disruption sensors Automatic immobilisation if the car is left unattended And some other things i cant remember. This information was given from justcar when i asked them what classes a adr approved alarm.

If I were in the position of getting a "freshen up" I would like to know what is being done, instead of paying money and not knowing. For all you know youre paying for the most expensive oil change. It just seems that 2k is to little for taking the engine apart and checking things.
