  1. refilled a tank and a half today haha but it was worth it! such a great road before the bumpy stage and mad fun driving with well behaved drivers =] looking forward to the next cruise!
  2. good lookin out mic thanks for the suggestion my mate told me to do the same thing but i was jus hoping i'd be lucky and find a cheaper stock boot carpetl on forums =S
  3. pretty insane for some seemingly cheap genuine nissan parts.... thanks alot for the help terry! i'll be sure to give him a call later during the week!
  4. owen you have no idea how much the nissan dealership were gonna charge me for a boot carpet (JUST THE CARPET) shipped from japan.... $400..... or there abouts... lol yeah thanks for the suggestion terry where about is kevin located in sydney?
  5. *sigh yeah i'm pretty much down for anything with acceptable conditions... every wreckers on the forums with available boot carpet/trim sell like hot cakes or just go for way too much
  6. I've been through quite a bit of wreckers and spares they're either too far from where i live or just too expensive ($60+). so i'm wondering if anyone knows another person wrecking or just selling the boot carpet for a R33 and can let me know for $40 max and still in pretty good condition =] thanks
  7. thanks guys the rims are in and yeah it does stretch out a bit but can't be happier with the new look =] thanks guys
  8. just got a quick question i'm going to get a set of 18x8.5 +30 on the front and 18x9.5+30 rear running stock suspension. but i recently bought a set of kumhos ku31 235/40/18 all four. Just wondering is the rear gonna be stretched really badly and will it look very bad considering the front will have a good fit but the rear is stretched? thanks
  9. actually jas i was thinking bout the whiteline sway bars to combat body roll and being rwd i agree the comfort level is not comparable to Gt-Rs swaying side to side on my seat hah. But yeah good suggestion and true that it's substantially cheaper than coilovers and in terms of having a fundamentally balanced suspension it'd make sense to first change out the ancient worn out bushings anyways as well as looking into getting sway bars prior to coilovers. Thanks =] heaps cool thanks for the offer luke great to get some opinions from experienced mechanics!
  10. Yeah i realized more people lean towards tein for track/streets ride-ability. i'll definitely lookin into the EDFC thanks for the suggestion Dave!! I read bout the pedders earlier today on another thread Cal. Thanks for the recommendation i'll give that a look as well and do some research =]
  11. yeah thanks for the recommendations fellas. i'll get the bushes, shocks and all that checked out. Being a 17 year old car obviously expectations of worn out parts should be no surprise, also knowing that creating comfort via suspension isn't easy considering all those factors you listed i guess i'll definitely replace the worn out suspension parts as a firm first step. Thanks again guys =]
  12. After a few high speed runs at bobbin head and cottage point and round sydney i think it's time to change out my suspension for better riding comfort and maneuverability on the streets. Although i've never tracked or drifted the car i'm just lookin for a set of coilovers that can offer me the maximum driving comfort on the streets because i'm going to start behaving myself on the roads =]. So sticking with known brands than going with some cheaper knockoffs for the sake of my car i'm curious whether i should start saving up for a set of Tein Super Streets and the BC equivalent BR series. My r33 Gts-T series 2 is current running stock set up and some unknown springs because the guy i bought it off did quite a few dodgy mods to the car... (E.G. melting plastic on the coil packs). Bought this car late April 2011 so it's almost a year old. I'm planning on installing coilovers soon after my upcoming major service. Any input or suggestion for alternatives is greatly appreciated. Domo Arigato!
  13. fantastic hope to see you all there then =]
  14. so what if i just wanna come chill and watch and make some friends do i still pay $35 being first time going? sounds like an exciting event worth the trip =]
  15. keen bean =] march sounds good hopefully when uni starts i won't have too much to deal with straight away.. but i still have a dent on the passenger door so hopefully you can get the good side of the car if photos are goin to be taken =D
  16. hey i just want the boot carpet (over the spare wheel) is it ok to buy that separately or do you have to sell the trim together. if you can sell it separately can you give me a price and picture? thanks alot
