  1. the japanese best motoring and hot version videos are still very good the american version is very poorly put together.
  2. man what are they thinking, but i think after 1995 rhd's became the normal. i know the M3 used to be sold as LHD in japan, but 1 or 2 years ago RHD's became available. no wonder they swap toyota celcior badges for lexus, yuck
  3. i mean were these LHD cars actually sold as new in japan?
  4. but are these cars orignally japanese specifications or just re-exports from european countries? and the 850 is a beautiful car, i'd take it over any evo any day, to be frank.
  5. the BMW's and mercedes here that come from japan are super cheap compared to european imported cars or middle east specifications. there are tonnes of them around, and all of them are left hand drive. also they have the bmw japan sticker and usually another one with the word "YANASE" on it. any idea why are these cars so cheap and what is yanase. its weired that almost all of them are around the 100k Km's range.
  6. where are the spinners? and the super-low body kit? man you aint no VIP like that :]

demon dave, care to post some of the wagons pics? and evo_lee, yes i have seen those celsiors with cracked body kits, makes you wonder why they have chosen such a heavy car out of all the rest.

the older presidents from the eighties are really nice though, great styling imo. celsior is definetly a good vip car, realiable too, but what about the crown, what do you think about it (royol saloon and athlete i mean) not the taxi/cop cars

president is the same car as the cima, exept it got more features, not really in the toyota century league.
  10. Right , left....who cars as long as the damn car moves. seriously though driving on the left (steering wheel) feels so wrong.
  11. yokohama i think because all chassis plates have the number 5 on them in the skylines.
  12. great info you got there keep it up. and dont say what happened in the late 1990's we all know that part.
  13. anyone got any experience with the Nissan Patrol Diesel clutch, apparentaly its fits direct to the r32's, people use it here in their gasoline patrols and they are awesome compared to the stock ones.
  14. just get a 1JZ-GTE powered Mark II and badege it to cressida. and if you convert the body style to a cressida then that'll be a true sleeper.
  15. thanks a lot, i think we'll have a specialist check the tranny. hope it didnt go bad.
  16. hi all, i posted this about 12 hours ago, but i got an error when i did so, any mod care to check that? anyway here goes, my mate got a RB25DET powered R32 skyline, its an auto and he has a serious (or not very serious) problem with the gearbox. see when the box selects second gear it has a habit of sticking in it . ie: it wont shift to first or third while the engine is runnig, have to turn the engine off, select first gear, then turn on again. can anyone explain why is this happening, even though he changed the tranny oil filter and the oil too. i searched for info on this topic but no gain. thanks for your inputs ps: i'll just copy this just in case the thread dosent go again, better to be safe than sorry.
  17. thats real shitty man, glad your freind came out alive. this gives me more of a reason not to drive a bike on public roads, leave them for the race track really sad consedering how fun bikes are.
  18. no too dangerous for the arabs look here http://www.602.org/infinity/infinity/dilz/...%20drifting.wmv
  19. all the cefiros (altima) here are FWD,but i dunno which engines they used. not for drifting i am afraid
  20. i meant if they were compatiable in terms of pistons, rings, bearings, belts and bearings seals...etc. because as far as i know, the 1jz engine shares a lot with the 2jz, thats why many people around here are getting 1jz powered mark ii's. just wanted to know if it was the same with the skylines.
  21. i'm interested in the 2.4 engine, after all i am looking into getting a 32 with either a rb25 or rb20. i called the distirbutor here once to ask them about parts for the RB20 or RB25 engines, their response was that they never had any parts for any engine that has initials starting with RB, also they told me that spare parts for the CA20 engine are available (orignally on a laurel). i guess the parts are interchangable between the CA20 and the CA18, but what about the altima's 2.4 and the R32's RB ? many thanks
  22. look how fat are these girls....AVOID!!!
