  1. would want to see pics which tanabe coils do u have? i used to use tanabe NF springs for my civic, they lower the car but only a tad bit stiffer, there was still a bit of bodyroll until i changed to tein flex...
  2. if anyone thinks ur other half hitting the stag is a crime, have a look at this: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/lifestyle/the-other-side/the-1m-car-crash-it-involves-a-blonde-five-very-expensive-cars-and-monte-carlo/story-e6frfhk6-1226103341664
  3. my car creaks when i park on uneven surface and climb into the rear seats from 1 side i thought it was swaybars that ran out of grease or just worn bushings
  4. damn, i set mine on 16s fronts and rears
  5. are they actually the same as the whiteline sway bars in dale's group buy? i'd like to get the front and rear strut bars, but are the others sway bars or additional braces?
  6. from a floating boat to a speedboat? btw, what settings did u use for ur BCs aaron? how many clicks front and rear?
  7. anyone with M35 has bought any reinforcement braces (not sway bars)? if yes, do they actually improve handling or at the least work as it's supposed to? something like this: http://www.oxmotorsports.co.jp/7.html? damn expensive
  8. was looking into legnums too before deciding on the stagea... had a chat with a few mates and they mostly adviced me to go for the M35 stagea because of support (service etc cos shared with most local Nissans), newer (01-04) compared to Legnums (95-01? correct me if i'm wrong), and the luxury features offered with the M35 (Axis, ARX and RX? i'm noob, correct me again if i'm wrong)...
  9. i once got followed by po-po on the way home, wasn't speeding but did took roundabouts faster than other cars...was still driving the civic (got coilovers)... they followed me to my house, parked their car in my driveway and when i came out of the car, i told them to wait 5 mins as i was desperate to do number 2...lady cop was pretty nice to let me do my business (after i convinced her that we were in front of my house) and checked my licence while i was doing my business long story short, once my business is done, i had to listen to her quick speech about not taking corners/roundabouts too fast , no fines luckily...
  10. fitted the BC racing suspension today...against dale's recommendation, i lowered the fronts a bit more now i got a car that is slanted to the front, checked underneath, distance between undertray and the road is about 6-7cm...took it for a test drive, couldn't see the headlights of the cars right behind me unless it's a 4wd gonna raise up the fronts tomorrow then get a wheel alignment done, the rears are toeing in pretty bad
  11. hey guys, noob question, how to take the gear handle apart? cos i've been driving manual so can't really figure out how to take auto gear handle...need to replace the light for passenger seat heater switch...
  12. agree with aaron...not planning to get any piggyback ecu or anything, just want a cheap way to make the intake sound louder without using pod filter... what about the part underneath the panel filter? can i block it somehow?
  13. took off the stock airbox apart, washed and cleaned the top front part (lots of dirt and gunk in there for some reason), took off part of the resonator (broke a couple of clips in the process ), took the car out and the engine sounds louder, but wanted a bit more loud, any suggestions other than changing to pod filter?
  14. hey guys, i need help as i'm still clueless on what's going on... the car has ECL on a few weeks ago, checked the codes manually, came as 1111, 1110 and 1135...i checked against the list of ECU error codes, nothing of that kind, searched online and came up as ECL code for Navara which points into the intake side (all 3 of them)...i asked the workshop that i normally go to and when they checked out the code using OBD scanner, same codes came out and i was told that the O2 sensor is busted... now i just got the O2 sensor replaced yesterday and today the codes came up again, same ones as above... anyone has an idea on what i need to look at? need help asap as i'm scared of driving with ECL on all times...
  15. mate has 20"x10 and he wants to try to stick them on my car this weekend...gonna be lots of lol... pics will be up when the fitting is done...
  16. sorry, i might not be clear with what i wrote above what i was planning to do by posting this thread is to find if anyone wants to buy anything for their cars from japan as i am looking to minimise the shipping cost for my bodykit...what i need from u guys is to find the stuff urselves and give me the link(s) so i can ask my mate's contact to get it for u if u confirm with me that u want it and will pay for it. payment wise i will have to find out the method of payment. i hope this is clear enough
  17. sorry mate, u need to provide me with a link to the items so my mate's contact can get them for u. that said, if the item is rare as, be prepared to pay more...
  18. hey guys, was trolling YA last night and saw a set of replica bodykit for less than $500 i asked my mate who has a contact in japan to buy him stuff for his car, the guy from japan came back to my mate saying that he can get the bodykit and ship it here but would cost me $500 for shipping from japan to oz (melbourne i think). the shipping is basically flat rate per container. i have asked my other mates who wanted to get anything from japan, they haven't got back to me yet, so i wanna give some of u a chance to get stuff for ur stag from japan and get them shipped with my bodykit and we can share the shipping cost. shipping cost would be calculated depending on the size and quantity of the items, eg. i wouldn't ask a person to pay $250 to ship just a small grille or wing. i have to find out in regards with wheels/tyres as they are quite large and can take up a lot of space like bodykit so there could be an issue with space if there are too many wheels/tyres order. shipping is per 3 months so if i miss out the next delivery (i haven't found out when) then i have to wait another 3 months to get the stuff. u guys might have had experience with this more than me, but i'm just wondering if anyone is interested to buy stuff and share the shipping cost cos the shipping alone for my bodykit is more than the kit itself lol... cheers, -syd- more details to come...
  19. so far i'm in...might have to swap with someone else if it's my turn for work on-call that weekend... aaron, good to have a map & directions, just make sure it's the right one or we might surface in china or india or maybe some whoop whoop land
  20. don't get me wrong...some ppl who put their cars in autosalon go to DT panels for paint jobs and the result looks good enough to pass for autosalon entry...but beware that at times their work is not the best quality...
  21. a lot of ppl i know go to DT panels since they're cheaper than most panel beaters, but u get what u pay for...
  22. where to get that wing? the nismo one costs $500 not shipped/painted
  23. try jetspeed in clayton...they do my mates' cars & put their own car in autosalon years ago...
  24. thanks for that dale, really appreciate it... gonna jack up the car on the weekend to have a look what's below...fingers crossed it's not raining in melbourne on saturday, can't work in a garage with 2 bloody wagons and lots of stuff around lol
  25. alright, got myself a set of BC racing type BR coilovers...gonna do installation myself with a help from a mate this weekend (if i get lucky when no one calls from work)...i can work out how to take off the fronts, but how to take off the rears? i mean how to access to the top part of the rear suspension which is covered by the interior... tried searching on SAU for any DIY on this, couldn't find any (maybe i didn't search hard enough?)...any links or pics would be a great help...thanks guys!
