  1. Finally something to stiffen up the JDM Volvo locally Can't wait, count me in once they're ready. What about strut braces?
  2. passenger side HID died last week, bought aftermarket replacement pair (8000K) for quite cheap, took an hour to fit both plus new LED parkers since i didn't have access to hydraulic jack & had to figure out how many clips/screws i had to take off the plastic guard... would like 5000K but seller only has 8000K for now next to do: paint rear spoiler, fit new phillips 80+ bulbs for the fog/high beam & fit new spoiler once painted
  3. does anyone know where to get new one? i kinda need it soon
  4. iain, still have this one? the skinny rod
  5. I agree with all previous posts/suggestions to OP. Stag is not a suitable first car for 99% of people who just started to drive. A car that's reasonably cheaper, a tad bit older and had a lot of support (from mechanics and more general car community) would be much better for learning in both driving, maintenance and general car knowledge until enough "driving experience" such as car limits, handling different traffic situations, accidents, police attention etc. In the mean time you can also get contacts & connections such as trusty mechanics/workshops, where to buy parts and from which supplier while avoiding the dodgy mechanics, suppliers & stealerships (i mean dealership ). My 2 cents.

  9. Hi guys, Bought the rims off Rudy (SAU member) not long ago, was in process or searching for tyres when i encountered a set of v35 rims so the ARX rims are now for sale since i don't have the space to store 2 sets of rims. 18x8 +40, a small section got gutter rash (about 5cm) on 1 rim only, others are ok On sale for $400 (interstate postage extra approx $50 using e-go). This price is what was paid when I bought the rims so I'm looking for the same. All rims are still in boxes that Rudy packed in so haven't even been taken out again. Pics (given by Rudy when he sold me the rims). gutter rash PM would be best means of communication. Cheers, Syd
  10. this does remind me of this old euro @ melb auto salon around 03-04: it looked weird as when it was still in melb, then it was sold to someone in nsw and became like this:
