Im actually not 100% sure lith but im pretty sure 21psi in 3rd gear is around 3500-3700 max and 4th gear is unknown mate my car is supposed to be hitting the rollers thursday so keep ya eyes peeled in my GTX3071 thread mate to check out my dyno sheet. Wolverine actually drove my car the other day and was of the opinion there was a little more to be had down low. So fingers crossed hes right

Im running the GTX3071 with .82 rear housing .60 front in second gear at 4000rpm the lil 25 really starts to boogey all the way up to 7500rpm i was worried bout the lag just like you were mate and i have no regrets bout the .82 its a great street setup its not hugely laggy but pulls like a freight train!

Pulled my pcv valve out today cleaned it up it works fine but the rubber grommet on the other hand was stuffed when i pulled it out it broke in half Nissan want $50 for a new 1! Getting a new rubber tomorrow but used a rubber hose that i had and dodged it up and it didnt seem to play up as much so fingers crossed its sweet when i put the new rubber in Im getting frustrated cant get my tune done till next thursday now

I will second that scotty my garrett is very quiet it whistles a little bit down low and thats the only trace of it really i believe it is actually much quieter than the stock turbo I also got a shock when i used bout 60% throttle and my gauge was at bout 18psi then i stepped on the noise pedal to bout 90% throttle and the gauge went up to near 27psi almost instantly!

Havent checked for vacuum leaks yet ill suss that out tomorrow arvo hopefully. yavus did tune it but we had this idle issue so i been tryin to fix it but not much free time atm took it for a run today and it was nearly stalling and idling bit rough worse than its ever been it runs great everywhere except for idle :@

Missed my spot last week to get my cars final tune but hoping the end of this week the tune will be finished and ill have a dynosheet for you guys to pull apart lol i connected my rocker cover breather into my suction line and i pulled the aac valve off and cleaned that but it still didnt help my little idling bug though it did seem to make it start quicker. When i pull up at a set of lights it sits a little high around the 1100rpm zone but sometimes as high as 1500rpm but after a few seconds it drops down to 900 and from time to time it hunts up and down from 1100-600 any ideas where i should look next? Or could that be to do with the tune now since i hooked that breather line up?

Ive had my R33 for close to 12 months now never had any attention from the boys in blue ive got a front mount 18'' rims a 4" dumpy hanging out back the body kit is stock and its fairly low but my car is highly modified but isnt overly loud and my BOV is plumbed back i think if ya car doesnt look like a piece of crap your BOV and exhaust arent stupidly loud and you arent being a dick you arent gunna have a problem!

What turbo you running? Is the motor built with cams etc? Thats a good power at 15psi! My car has 270rwkw with bout 21psi on a stock motor with a GTX3071 if your fuel system is up to it 20 psi is no drama! Put it this way mate my car has 850cc injectors and tomei 276Lpm pump and my boost spiked up to 26.6psi in 3rd gear with plenty of revs and throttle and the motor didnt make a sound it shouldnt of! But obviously i wouldnt recommend it on a stock motor! But alot of blokes in here run 20psi on stockas reliably if ya motor is relatively healthy and you dont abuse it too often

I thought the anti lag set ups worked by basically pumping fuel into the exhaust manifold? I guess thats just probably 1 of the set ups they have played around with

My car is a 97 33 so itd have vct yeah? I bought HKS cam gears and timing belt which arent installed is there any benefits to installing them apart from them looking pretty in my engine bay??

Well i dont want it any doughier off boost so that rules cams out for me! It feels good the way it is and once my tune is finished it will be better!

Thats bit of a bummer mate but once your clutch is sorted the fun will begin good luck with it! Yeah i am stoked with it but she only fried 3rd when my boost hit 26.6psi haha on 21psi it just sits down and boogies i love it! My blitz gauge only goes to 1.5 bar and i watched the needle fly straight to the bump stop! the motor didnt make any noises it shouldnt but i backed off anyways lol! The smile is what its all about mate and if your smile is like mine you are very much a happy man too

Haha yeah i dont drive mine much either ive had my car for 12 months now and done about 2500-3000kms. In second gear its bout 4000rpm and it really starts to haul ass all the way to 7500rpm 3rd is probably around 3700rpm maybe slightly less been seriously thinking about poncams to help with lag because after being used to the 200kw and stock turbo response the lag was really noticable even though it drove much nicer off boost though i must say! But when it comes on now my smile is probably 2 inches wider now its simply alot of fun to drive now. So if i could get it boosting earlier it wouldnt really be that far off stock response that would be UNREAL! Believe it or not my car doesnt really spin wheels mate even in 1st gear when you put your foot down! it just hooks up its awesome! When my boost controller settings are sweet ill probably put 25psi into her briefly and see how that feels or get an E85 tune which i initially was gunna do i love it!

Gday Harry yeah it did fix it mate CHEERS! found some english instructions now so im bout to go have a play with the controller because its still running high for example its set at 15psi on the controller now but goes up to 19-20psi but its stable and not spiking like it used to so i think its to do with the boost offset settings or the likes but ill be back on soon when i have play and take her for a squirt
