  1. How much boost you running? Ive gotta turbosmart plumback and its still loud but thats when its dumping 20+ psi of pressure
  2. To the best of my knowledge mate you will never get a bov to be completely silent does it vent to atmosphere or plumback into the air intake?
  3. Toyo tyres do hang on good but dont last because they are a soft compound rubber so expensive for short life = poo for daily drives imo
  4. Ive got them on my car mate with ebc red stuff pads and hel braided lines made a huge difference! My car is only a gtst though they looked the best outta everything else i looked at so was sold purely on aesthetics lol

Running over welds is actually not good practice because putting too much heat into your material will create imbrittlement which causes the grain of the material to shrink and basically crystalize and in extreme conditions will crack right beside the weld

If you are only welding exhausts and light stuff the duty cycle wont really be too much of a drama and if u r learning somethin cheap to get ya hand in and a few tips from somebody who can weld will be fine mate :-)

The correct term is actually called walking the ceramic which is pretty tricky to learn but once u have the technique its a piece of piss im a pressure welder by trade but have had heaps of experience in the food industry purge welding stainless steel tube installing steam pipes on boilers etc your pipe fitting is quite neat mate what u using to cut the pipe? me='BOOZTJUNKEY' timestamp='1320962225' post='6104531'] You could also try the "walking the cup " style of welding to help with consistency ;-) For stuf like intakes and cooler pipes I only do a nice hot fuse but try and roll the pipe so I get in one run ... It's only a fuse weld but is still a full weld and plenty strong enough for cooler pipes and intakes! As for going back over the welds I use to think it was cheating also lol but it's not that uncommon of a practice In the last year I have heard heaps of ppl say that's what they do hahaha Although if it was structual I would do a nice hot root run first make sure u have peno first then go over it if need be
  9. Awesome! Ive driven the Escudo on Gran turismo of course haha! I believe it has a 500hp 2.5L twin turbo V6 grand vitara motor in the the front and the back driving each set of wheels........ PURE INSANITY!!!
  10. Lol yeah id prob just slip the ol nismo throw overs on too im also keen on gettin my car engineered properly too
  11. Does anybody know if the brides meet ADR standards?? Keen on some new seats myself but dont want trouble from the fuzz lol
  12. I teckon ya best bet is to start with the basics like cleaning the aac valve check for vacuum leaks and even check out ya pcv b4 u start looking to tamper with ya pfc mate
  13. Lol agreed bout the chicks but if you have a 11ty thousand hp skyline you can tear their clothes off under acceleration! Or you could cheat and buy GTR badges and most girls wouldnt tell the difference! haha
  14. +1 on that My car made 170rwkw before the Nistune on 8psi with the stock turbo and was doughey as hell untill 5000rpm with the Nistune and 12psi it made 203rwkw and was coming to life at bout 3200rpm felt like a completely different car!
  15. Yeah i dont have a problem with it and if u keep the clutch in around corners at low speed to keep the chattering away. other than that it puts the power to the ground unreal
  16. Ok so i know sweet F A about diffs and dont profess to but my car has a kaaz 2 way and its rough as guts at low speed cornering on nice smooth concrete it chirps turning & the whole car shudders it is quite unfriendly for a daily drive. I personally havent noticed any difference in how it affects the handling though i must admit in the wet it does feel seriously slippery but i boiled that down to lotsa hp lol! BUT with 386hp on the tar my car doesnt do a great deal of wheel spinning
  17. The Nistune can be bit of a pain mate cos the RB25 computer isnt Nistune compatible and you will need to get an RB20 or 300ZX ECU to get Nistuned just somethin to think about
  18. Definately the ECU is next then mate and you can expect to see around the 200rwkw zone and eliminate that massive flat spot your car will have dont worry bout injectors until you are ready for a turbo upgrade in my opinion
  19. No mention of exhaust? Thats ya next upgrade and you can expect anything from 160-180rwkw with what you have done. Next step would be an ECU and expect around 200rwkw with a standard turbo
  20. Now thats old school cool!!!!!!!! With new school GO!
  21. OMFG! That thing gave me a chubby! Wish i had the coin to burn on some form of insanity like that thing! Gotta say that i was expecting to see the legendary 2JZ

  23. Garrett GTX3071r .82 rear .60 compressor Nistune 850cc PE injectors Tomei fuel pump Z32 AFM pod filter with CAI splitfires front mount custom 3" dump into full kakimoto exhaust HKS EVC 6 boost controller">
  24. Hahaha justo ill have to bring my tools and service gear to give her an oil change 500km outta Perth lol did u check out the video link wolverine posted up of 1 of the power runs on the dyno? Your car will be an animal with the forged motor and 30psi big fella so get ya ass into gear haha! The baby GTX is awesome when she gets spinning and the lb's climb so fast!
