I would imagine warmer air obviously wouldnt give u maximun heat exchange as cooler uninterupted air but would surely still aid oil temps but does seem counter productive buying a nice cooler kit and not giving it the best chance of doing its job properly

Going from low counts of ethanol (so say E10) and putting a full tank of E85 in the engine becomes so much more alive. When I did a back to back on my old setup, it came on about 300 RPM sooner (boost) and made more power everywhere.

Hmmmmm im swapping over to caltex flex fuel in the next couple of weeks hopefully depending how soon my G4 link comes through but i just serviced my car with AMSOIL 10w40 which i was told was fine for ethanol Any thoughts??? Ive got a new geniune nissan fuel filter ready to go once i have done 2 tanks as ive heard itll rip all the crap out of your fuel system is this true??? Lastly will E85 help reduce turbo lag?

Its obviously still bleeding some air from the actuator mate. Have you put a joiner in and tried it without the boost tee in? Couldnt see how cleaning ya filter would bump your boost up unless it was near blocked

I had a Gt4 celica and had the CT26 highflowed by precision turbos apparently it had a TO4Z compressor wheel fitted and 360 degree thrust bearing and was told it would flow 400hp But dont use it on an RB as all the boys said sell up buy a turbo car that somebody else has pumped all their coin into for sweet F A

DO NOT USE AN OXY on sheetmetal it will look like crap and the sheet will be deformed from the heat! 1mm inox cut off wheel on 5" or 4" grinder dont push hard on the grinder just let the wheel do the work as they are flexible and will twist and run off ya line i find if u just score the material slightly before u cut through u cant go wrong. Also if ya angles or bends arent sharp u can cut them with the inox wheels too cos they are flexible

I bought my moto years ago off a guy who apparently was a lab rat for an oil company (cant remember which 1) and he swore on nothing else but an oil with ester as it stopped oils breaking down as fast. I wonder why ester is such a no no with ethanol?
