    I would also find a new mechanic mate cos sounds like he dont know WTF he is talking about because with out bigger injectors and fuel pump a bigger turbo is useless to you! if you wanna do it cheap buy a 2nd hand GTR fuel pump and some SR20 injectors highflow ya turbs get it retuned if ya shop around and get lucky you MIGHT get some change from $2500 and you will be good for 250kw

    I never floor my car from 1st - 2nd but when ya mash the noise pedal in 2nd it will plant you in the seat bout 3700-3800rpm and pulls real hard to 7200 and it just hits 110kph 3rd gear is very much the same to give you an idea i opened her up in 3rd last nite and at maybe 120-130kph hit a bit of uneven road not really a pot hole but kind of a dip and she started to break traction haha feels unreal!

    He did indeed mate I dont think they will mate i think my car is a quick fix just plug in the new sensor and probably an hour on the dyno at the most id imagine. Hoping it is a quick fix so i can take my car down there 1 arvo and watch Yavus work his magic with my ride

    It had a shitty signal apparently mate so gotta chase a new 1 next week it will be a warranty swap over though so not too painful i guess.... well on my wallet anyways haha ! hes organising your stuff then apparently mate so he will be getting my new sensor then. Im only on 18 psi for now but want 25psi

    Thanks for the kind words Andy its good getting to drive a different set up car real world comparisons are a much better way to judge setups than dyno sheets Our cars do feel very similar in the way the power is delivered be very interesting to see how our cars performed side by side Sorry bout that hose mate glad i only owe you a new hose clamp and not a new engine... lol

    Hahaha Scotty they are overated indeed! I will put in as much as the lil GTX will blow but i only have 850cc injectors

    My E85 tune netted me 30 more rwkw on 3psi less than my 98 tune and just feels gruntier everywhere its tops ooops wrong thread totally irrelevant info for this thread lol!

    Just a lil update on my car had map sensor dramas yavus thinks its a dodgy sensor so my car was only tuned on 18psi and made 307rwkw once i get a new sensor and bump up the boost to 25psi its gunna feel real nice im really happy with how the car feels on E85 much livelier on and off boost and is just more responsive all round

    Id say so Joey im a little disappointed in the map sensor packing it in or not working at all... I hope im not gunna have any dramas with it! I must be the only 1 who has had 1 play up or has anybody else had or heard of this problem???

    Ive got hel lines in my gtst and my dad has in his gtr too cheap as chips work great and as far as i know are the only ADR complied lines.

    Go up and see jezzy boy with sweet F A premo in ya tank touch up ya tune now that ya sorted the bugs if ya not happy with the end result still have 40L of E85 handy and get him to work his magic on the good stuff just might need to have plenty of time up ya sleeve so jez can sort out the cold start up

    What sorta power you chasing and what you got now? If you want to do it cheap just dump the 98 and fill her up and re tune her. My car went in yesterday with a G4 and 7 bar map sensor $1800 for them alone plus the price of the tune You can make ya power by winding the timing in or by winding the timing in and the extra boost if your fuel system is up to it U should get 300kw with the 740s dude
