Nistune wont control your boost and my experience with the nistune in my car wasnt that crash hot could never get it to idle consistent cold start took few turns more than usual not saying they are bad dont get me wrong just always seemed to have lotsa annoying little bugs that just couldnt be sorted other than the above mentioned my car ran good and made good power just seemed that using a chipped ecu that is designed to run a 3L twin turbo V6 on a 2.5L single turbo inline 6 just aint really meant to be. My 2c and the opinion of my tuner also
  3. Yeah bummer dude i spoke to Jason today he told me his results think im gunna ditch the factory pipe to the throttle body and shorten my cooler pipework up with some shiny staino pipes
  4. Cant offer you any advice on the offsets unfortunately mate but i can tell ya not to get the black with red wall rims because thats what i have on my car hahaha

A sad update due to a boost leak yavuz didn't finish my tune off we got up to 312kw but then possibly 1 of the silicone joiners has let go and 1 of my cooler pipes is squashed so gotta few plumbing bugs i gotta sort out. We done a smoke test but nothing showed up the leak sounded like the horn from its a knockout lol which lead me to believe its a joiner thats let go so hopefully i can get it sorted this weekend and get it back to the dyno early next week

Mate in all seriousness Andy is onto a good thing as much as i was tooling around with my opening comment i think making threads by power levels and turbo setups makes for better referencing for people who are doing builds and setting power goals its a much better proposition than reading pages and pages of dyno sheets! So ill cut the chat and start posting your results!

Without a tuned ecu its pointless upping the boost really from my experience with my car once ya got an exhaust cooler and filter u should be around 160-170rwkw my car was running 11psi was nistuned and made the same power on 8psi my car was boring as bat shit till 5500 then took off ! save ya coins for an ecu & tune then look at the boost increase

  17. Haha thanx lads looking to more or less max out the lil GTX and hoping the extra boost fattens up my midrange and gets me close to putting down somewhere around 450hp.   18. Just a little update my car goes back to unigroup this Thurday to have my new map sensor plugged in and the tune touched up for 25psi boost CANT WAIT!!!!!!

Hey justo welcome to SAU buddy dont wanna smash ya dreams on skylines mate but wait till you are old enough to drive a turbo skyline as buying a non turbo is an expensive exercise as they can be as expensive if not more than a turbo and also there is more to just swapping engines from n/a to a turbo as lotsa other things like brakes etc will need upgrading also. Plenty of good helpful guys with heaps of knowledge in here do ya homework in here then when the time comes buy yourself a sweet R32 GTR and use all the good things you learn in here into practice on your new beast Good luck mate
  23. I went to a link G4 from a nistune and it ironed out all my lil bugs id say go the G4 purely for the fact it goes into the stock ecu box so isnt really detectable. Ive seen pics of the vipec is it a bulky unit that will need to be mounted somewhere?
  24. Was told theoretically and in an ideal situation of course by my tuner that i could make as much 350kw on 25psi at the moment im on 18psi and 307kw and he said its got heaps more left in it so fingers crossed it does lol
