Another quick update pressure tested my pipework today and its all good i also bought a stainless hose barb and welded it on for my boost controller

Speak to your local nissan dealer mate use the standard nissan gasket and studs and she'll be right

Hoping the shorter pipes and lack of leaks might get me bit closer to your response Andy Goes in this Friday hopefully its all sorted and it can see the 25 psi im so longing to see! Pressure tested my new setup and it came up trumps!

Will the GTR box drop straight in scotty or will it need mods? Has anyone ever looked into or tried Cryotech for gearbox parts dont know the exact process but they use liquid nitrogen and put them under vacuum i believe and claim that it hardens things by 300% NASA stumbled on it when all the space shuttles returned harder than were originally made? I recall seeing its around $60 a kg or something would be a cheap alternative for a hardened GTR gearbox if the claims are true

It peaked at 288kw but was bought down to a "safe" 278kw Dyno figures for the GTX3076 are in the RB25 dyno thread dont know what dyno was used simply requoting figures You love bringing up that the ole 3076 comes on sooner than the GTX dont ya mate lol

My GTX3071 made 288rwkw on 98 at 21psi im now on E85 and at 18psi made 307rwkw and on 22psi with major boost leaks got up to 312kw with predictions of theoretical possibility of 350rwkw. GTX3076 some boys are making 360-400rwkw on E85

This is by no means a derogatory statement as ive used CRD in the past and was happy with their work but bring ya $$$$ with ya mate as they know how to charge

I have replaced all the hoses with triple ply reinforced silicone hoses Dave and ive got new hose clamps recommended by yavus they are only bout 8mm wide so they should bite down good on the silicone hoses and since ive replaced the wafer thin alloy pipework with stainless i can nip up the hose clamps that lil bit tighter without crushing the pipe

Might fab up something like u described and see if there is any difference in throttle response and air temps compared to what i made

Thanks sarge thats not actually a bad idea! Never even considered running it that way as i had my mind set on shortening up that pipe as much as possible but i like the idea of keeping the pipework outta the heat i think what ive done with my pipework would be less prone to heat soak as im nowhere near the radiator and there is less pipework directly over the top of the engine which should help keep intake temps down imo

Still running the 14psi can mate might try getting the big can this week actually forgot all bout that lol
